Had less than 18 months, kept under a roof with a separate cover, cleaned after every use. Paint chipping off and on/off knob unusable. Salesman assured us and bought this BBQ thinking it would be quality. Contacted Harvey Norman with issues who fobbed me off to the supplier who I haven't heard from since. Absolutely appalled. Save yourself issues - buy a Weber from a retailer who actually honors warrantees.

I have had this bbq for over a year now and I still love it! Heats quickly, is easy to clean up after, looks great, fits a heap of foon on the plates, easy to control the temperature......and did I mention how great it looks and how easy it is to clean!?!?
Two complaints, first should have the ability to be able to have at least 5 settings for the heat. High, medium, low and in between, when cooking a roast you want to cook it slow.Also, trying to cook a turkey or a large roast, they keep hitting the cover.
The BBQ is great. The service from the person who dealt with me on click and collect was, rude, abrupt and not a nice experience.
Good points first: it has a nice little tray, and a hook for the gas can. It also does what barbques are supposed to: cook food.The not-so-good stuff: Building it, the plastic pieces were slightly too big for the metal tubes they went in to, meaning it shaved plastic off, affecting the appearance/creating more work.There isn't much space on the sides of the BBQ, so if you want to cook with more than 2 ingredients, or for more than 2 people, you'll need backup.The absolute worst thing is this: The cooking surfaces fall out of place if you so much as look at them wrong. This isn't great when you've got a bunch of sausages going and the bbq is 300C. Whoever designed this with such tiny supports didn't think it through.
G8 looking product at an affordable price BUTIt’s NYE and i am getting this new bbq ready for its maiden cook off to impress my mates. The cast iron plates have been washed as recommended. Time to start it up, so i smear a little bit of oil on the plates. Unfortunately i accidently spilt some in the front of the bbq. No biggie so i proceed to clean it with a paper towel but the writing came straight off.
