1910 Classic Training Gloves

I bought the 1910 Classic Training Gloves and I could barely fit my hands in the gloves without hand wraps. I called everlast customer service to try to exchange them for another style. The customer service representative was extremely unhelpful. The return process is a headache so I won’t even bother returning them. I am very disappointed I have always used everlast gloves and other equipment. Everlast representatives don’t seem to care if you order from the company anymore so I will try another brand. Very disappointing!!!!

The material is soft. The lining is also nice and breathable. My only issue is the finger pockets aren’t deep enough causing the palm to not line up properly and the bottom of the thumb is exposed. With hand wraps it get too tight After a few rounds the hand begins to go numb because of the elastic positioning. I don’t recommend the glove to people with longer fingers or thicker hands. The glove will be too small and tight

Great gloves for heavy bag training. Went for 16oz, and just perfect with wraps underneath. No hand damage. Leather looks durable and the classic styling looks great hanging up in your gym when not in use!

Excellent gloves at reasonable price
5 November 2022

Excellent gloves at reasonable price. Got these as I was getting bruising on my knuckles from a pair of sting gloves. They're a much better fit, with padding in the right places. Haven't had any knuckle issues since. Lightweight and comfortable. Quite stiff at first but will be fine after some wearing in.

Great mid to high level training glove (2 months of use)

I was a little skeptical of buying these because buying things from Everlast can sometimes be a hit and miss. In general, I was very impressed with the glove. It feels like a punchers glove to me, the leather and padding is really well put together and the stitching has held up. My biggest complaint is that the hand compartment is just a little too small. Most companies change the sizing depending on the oz of the glove but I notice Everlast holds true to this more than other companies. It stretches out after about a week of continuous use. The padding has held up great and is overall a great feel when I hit the mitts, shield, or any kind of bag. I have not tried sparring with these yet but one of my students tried them in sparring and said they feel good too. ... MoreI was a little skeptical of buying these because buying things from Everlast can sometimes be a hit and miss. I would recommend these to anybody looking for a good glove to last them for a long time.

Much smaller than the Elite Training Gloves
5 December 2022

Really like these, they look great and the leather seems like better quality than some of the other gloves. Only thing is they are definitely a bit smaller on the inside. I’m 5’-9” 160lb and the 16 oz. fit well on me, but if you’re a lot bigger I would not recommend. I’m mainly comparing to the 16oz. Elite training gloves which I have too.

My first pair of gloves
25 October 2021

I've owned these for the past 7 months, using them about twice a week doing heavy bag and mitt work. There's cosmetic wear, such as light scoring and abrasions from the glove being put under stress, however the leather has held up well and still looks great.I bought the 16oz size and have a hand circumference of 19.5 cm.I highly recommend these if you're looking for that old school appearance.

Tight at first
24 October 2019

I agree with the other reviewer. They are tighter then other gloves. They do hurt at first. But they need to be broken in. It took me a few rounds on the bag and one sparring session. After that they were ready to go. I have medium size hands, wear 180 wraps and even put knuckle guards under the wraps. First 3 times it felt almost impossible to get my hands in them. But trust me, they will. I would highly recommend these gloves for bag, focus mitts or sparring. Ive been using them for 6 months now. When they get broken in they form to your hands. That’s what you want. Not a loose glove where you might jack your hands or wrists. I have the 16oz gloves for boxing. 14oz gloves for JKD. I never had to put on wraps with the 14oz. Go with them and you will be very happy after they are broken in. The break in period does suck, but it’s worth it.

Very Good And Cool Gloves
26 September 2021

Got these in the classic brown 14oz. I've used these for bag work and sparring so I can say confidently these are good gloves. Good wrist support and good knuckle protection with a classic look that is sure to get you a few compliments in the gym. Overall a very good glove for beginner, intermediate and maybe even a professional boxer👍.

Would not recommend
26 August 2020

Everlast has been my go to glove for YEARS!!! I was super excited to get these and very disappointed when they arrived. The quality of old that everlast is known for has dropped significantly. I saw this even in the powerlock gloves but they were good enough. I probably purchased at least 4 pairs of powerlocks and then i didn't even want to try these 1910 gloves on, thats how disappointed i was. Have never worn another glove other than everlast. Just purchased another brand within minutes of receiving these gloves for the first time ever. We'll see if i purchase everlast again. SMH - how much i loved Everlast. Kinda sad.
