So I'd recommend 14oz or above to protect your hands more. They're the cheaper end of the everlast range. Maybe that's why. But for me RDX are best value for money,I have a pair of those now and for the same price as these everlast ones the quality is so much better for your money. They're ok,but that's about it. No problems with sports direct at all, ordered loads over Christmas and never had a problem at all. I'm just saying the product isn't great for the money compared to RDX gloves.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he was so excited. He uses them everyday and gets a great workout.
It’s a shame as they look good in the picture, but the quality is poor up close and I can’t see them lasting long.The Velcro loop is tiny and keeps pinging up open and a lack of padding.There are better gloves for this price range.I have some of their more expensive ones And they are great..... I just liked these green ones.
I’ve had these gloves for a couple of weeks they are fine but not great. Use them about five times on the bags and they are still in shape but they feel light and flimsy
Straps could be longer, comfort is ok for hitting the bag not too bag I hit the metal pole with these gloves has not ripped apart
