I bought this card to play all the new Minecraft ray tracing stuff and I am totally let down. Performance is horrible unless you drop to tiny resolution. While it is not dropping and freezing frames it decides to black screen all the time. Seen others below with this issue, but when mine black screens, I have totally reboot the entire system which is a huge pita. This one is going up on e bay for some other dude to have problems with. I tried Control game too and the performance is just not there for ray tracing, but it only black screened once so far with no ray tracing on.

Upgraded from an old (5+ years) EVGA GTX 970 to this model. I am very pleased, and in the past week have transitioned from 1080p gaming to 1440. This card has held up very well with the transition. I have pushed it decently hard, after tonight's session its hottest was 76C with a fan RPM of 2480. Typically that'd be loud but I didn't notice it... then again I had headphones on and what do you expect. Too many people who complain about the slightest noise from their rigs. Slightly worried about the VRAM not being enough in a few years but we'll have to see. If you are inclined to spend more money maybe go with the 2060S, but I couldn't really justify the extra hundo and I plan on replacing this by then anyways.

I have built my own systems now for over 10 years. Install and everything was perfect, I did not DDU or anything. Popped the card in with latest drivers and away I went....till I played a game. The first black screen happened when I was playing Borderlands 3. IT was after about an hour so I did not pin the fault on the card. Restarting the system and I played the rest of the night. So far it has been a blast, UserBenchMark is giving this a 85-87 which Is much better than the 55-60 I was getting on my 1060 3gb. This thing can run Cod MW at all max 110fps average, obviously depending on the map. It also runs rust at 80 fps with med graphic. Its no beast but its a great med high end graphics card that will get the job done. In all honestly if you have cash to splash go ahead and upgrade to a 2070s it's probably worth it but if you are not looking to blow a hole in your wallet then go ahead and snag this puppy. Only one complaint is that this thing runs HOT like 84C hot. get some better cooling on these!

At idle with Precision X1 this card stays between 30-40 Celsius. Under load this card has not once exceeded 72 Degrees. Which is absolutely optimal. X1 allows you to pick the power level you want to run at. At 100% the target Temp is 83 Celsius. At like 92% power the Temp level is around 72 Celsius. When I set at 100% Power the Temp has never gone beyond 72 Celsius. In other words IF YOU ARE USING THIS CARD WITHOUT PRECISION X1, THIS IS LIKELY WHY YOU ARE HAVING HEAT ISSUES OR YOUR CASE AIRFLOW SUCKS. I've had literally no issues with Temps in this card with Precision X1. You can lower the power of this card with precision X1 which will dramatically lower temps easily. Before posting negative comments I would strongly suggest troubleshooting first. If you cannot find the reason for the problems contact EVGA directly. I use an EVGA G3 Supernova 750 watt PSU and this EVGA Card. I've never had any problems with EVGA stuff and have been using various EVGA stuff for 10+ years. This card comes with a 3 year warranty. Contact them for help and perhaps they can fix the issues BEFORE you start posting negative unnecessary comments. EDIT: most of the above still applies. I have decent FPS in most games weeks after first use. However, the 2060 CAN handle more power and better overclock speeds. This is why the card is so cheap. If you are in dire need of an upgrade from like a 600-900 series GTX card, this would be an upgrade but nowhere near as good as other cards that CAN be overclocked properly beyond nvidia specs very likely because they reused cooling section from a 1660 instead of giving it a proper cooler...another reason why it's cheap!
This is a good GPU for the price however if you can splurge more on a GPU I recommend you splurge on it. This GPU arrived in perfect condition, no damage to the box what so ever. Arrived on time. East installation, easy software in my opinion to monitor temperatures and set fan curves. HOWEVER, this GPU will get VERY VERY HOT during most triple A titles, like GTA and Rainbow Six Siege hitting temperatures of 74°C - 82°C. Its idle temperature is around 38°C which is fine and during csgo its typically around 60°C and for me at least quiet. But whenever I play GTA it skyrockets and I've lowered my settings several times and restarted it as well. Might just use it as a place holder for my next GPU I get around December.

It was at never any point, unplayable. As far as other games go, this card performs admirably. I'm running at 1080p with a target of 1444hz when I can get it, and the great thing is that a lot of the time, I can. Fortnite can run 144hz with all the settings maxed no problem, Minecraft Java Edition could still hit 144 fps a lot of the time even while running SEUS Renewed shaders, and Overwatch can run at a good 90-110 fps with all the options maxed, and if I were to set them even slightly lower, I could reach a steady 144fps. The only other thing I should mention about this card is that at the time of writing this review, if you register this card with EVGA you can receive free copies of Deliver Us The Moon: Fortuna and GRIP: Combat Racing for free, both of which I've tried on this machine and run extremely well. The former, particularly, is worth note as it also supports ray-tracing and with all the graphical options maxed it rarely dipped below 90-100 fps, with the most resource intensive-scenes not even dipping below 60. (I've only played a portion of it, however, so it might become more intensive later on. ) To sum up my review, if you're looking for a cheap RTX card to run Minecraft RTX, I can't recommend this enough. With the performance I've gotten outside of that, it only gets better, and according to SteamVR Performance Test, this card is far more than ready for VR. And considering that it comes with two free and very good games, if you're looking to buy an RTX 2060, this may very well be as good as it gets. - Written by the 16 year-old grandson of the purchaser.
I've had this card since may 2020 and didn't have much problems with it until about a few days ago. I'm past the return policy, so I thought I should warn you. This card eventually will start to CLICK and you will notice it. It happens typically whenever I hit temperatures of 72°C or higher and it becomes much louder than normal. I wish I purchased another card but I have hopes that AMDs big navi 2 will be better so I'm saving for that. Also EVGA has not given much information about the clicking or how to stop it. The forums suggest 1 thing or another but those options are not working. I would recommend spend your money elsewhere.
Got this just before all hell broke loose. Had i know all hell was gonna break loose, i would have got the 2070 super i was eyeing instead of waiting dor the 30 series card that i still dont have. But this thing is holding me down. Powering a 49in 1440p super ultra wide and a 35in 1440p ultrawide. Not at their full potential (refresh rates down) but still. Im very satisfied working (for the most part) and playing (for the most part). I still need a 3070 or better to fully utilize my current system, still hoping for a 3080 at a reasonable price. But this little guy has certainly impressed me.
works fantastic! really like it for the value and price point. it was plug and play, with no issues at all. one thing that did concern me was the fans did not kick on (my lack of knowledge on new gpus) but after i booted up a game they worked just fine. (just a little side note if you upgarde form an older gpu) but it does perform very good, used to get 40-60 max fps on my 1050 with demanding games (assetto corsa, minecraft etc) but now i can run max setting with almost 200 fps.
