Got lucky and was able to order it earlier this week when Best Buy dropped a lot of 3000 series cards. Just picked it up today a day earlier than expected. Still can't believe I actually got it.The card is great and is a huge step up from my gtx 1060 6gb from four years ago. Was definitely worth the price close to MSRP at $560, don't bother with scalpers. Good luck to anyone trying to get one. Heard the tariffs may increase GPU prices soon, hopefully that isn't the case.Note that the version I got has the red edge on the end of the card. However since my case is the Meshify C, the card end isn't as noticeable when looking at it due to the viewing angle and the tempered glass panel has a bit of a dark tint.As for the model number that everyone's been wondering ... Best buy probably changes the number to not have to price match other competitors. But the card is still legit as an EVGA 3070 XC3 Ultra. And with EVGA's good reputation, I'm happy if I ever have to deal with them in the future.

This is one of the best reasonably priced high quality 3070 cards out there. Its perfect for those wanting to do 1440p gaming with a high refresh rate (144hz or higher), which I honestly prefer over 4k @60hz. That said, this is still a really good entry level 4k gaming card if you decide to go that route instead. Both the Ray Tracing & the DLSS technology are incredible & noticeably improved over the last gen cards, though you do take a performance hit with RT turned on.The thermals on air are great as its using the same cooler as their 3080 cards along with a full metal backplate. The fans aren't overly loud either. The EVGA X1 software is great for overclocking, adjusting the fan curves, & adjusting the argb on the evga logo. The clock speeds it ships with are ... EVGA always makes excellent products! I would recommend a 3070 or 3070 Ti for anyone looking for a great GPU, and you can't go wrong with an EVGA branded model. On this 3070 with DLSS, I can play many games on my 4K TV above 60 FPS. If your main gaming setup will be 1440p then a 3070 is probably the best value. The three fan cooler does keep the card cool when gaming but it can get a bit loud. However, don't overpay; I got this from best buy at MSRP, so it was worth it. Be careful with inflated prices and scalpers.

Undervolt profile of 1815mhz @ 875mV results in 37C temps with constant 97/98% gpu usage in AC valhalla with a fan speed of 44% across all 3 fans and room temp of 70C. (It is winter here in northern ontario though) Another undervolt profile I have is 1935mhz@950mV. The RGB customization is great and the app is a huge step up from my gigabyte. The photos really don't do this GPU justice I thought looking at the 3080 the cooler looked kind of ugly at first glance and temps online 74C were awful so I ignored it for a while until recently it ... Inside the case it is a beauty and the design is obviously very good for a 3070's power given my temps I am wondering if 3080 can really be that much higher stock and what same undervolt profiles will do. Big plus with EVGA is their 90 day stepup program so if a 3080ti releases within 90 day time frame I can trade in my 3070 for it and not have to wait or get a 3080 thats extremely difficult to purchase unless you live close enough to a Canada Computers or Memory Express location that is doing in store pickup only in the middle of a pandemic???!
From the design to the performance. I feel so lucky to have got a chance to get this card. I love it. Coming from a PNY 1050 Ti, my entire world has changed. I can actually play games and see them how the designers and developers wanted me to see them! It's got some size and weight to them so I suggest making sure it fits your case and getting a support to prevent sag. RGB is wonderful, not too much, not too little. EVGA really nailed it as they have one of the best 30 series looking cards. Dare I say sexy? Excited to finally be a part of the EVGA family too as I have friends who rave about their products and even their customer service. Overall, I'm in love. My life has improved drastically with this card #blessed
Had originally bought the card since it was the only one I could get at the time. Really solid performance and had bought at a decent price despite it being during the shortage and other world events making these hard to come by. Temps remained steady in the 60° C range and Performance at 1440p was surprisingly good. Slightly overkill for 1080p gaming great overall. A shame that EVGA no longer makes GPU's following the release of the 40 series.
Very good card, I have 2K/ 144hz monitor. This is paired with I5 10600k. I get well over 100 fps on max settings on pretty much everything I've played. Benchmarks at time of purchase put me on average in the 95th percentile of pcs tested. I am sure that has dropped a little since that time but still very solid. EVGA is one of the top 2/3 card makers currently and Best Buy is probably one of, if not the best place to buy. You will be hard pressed to find it cheaper anywhere else. 3070 is probably one of the best bang/buck card that yo can currently buy. That is if/when you can find them in stock. I used stock alerts.
It is in the title. Most people dont play the games tested in the benchmarks you see on NexusGamers, Jays2cents, Linustech tips, etc They push these to the limit and you won't.Don't fall the Hype. The 30 series is all that you will need from a 3060 TI up.Beside, the 40 series will take up 3 or more slots on your motherboard, may require a New PSU ( power supply unit ), and these cards are so heavy if you stand your PC up Your NEED a support bracket stick. So your GPU dosen't sag out of your motherboard. How long is that stick, will it work in most PC case.NVIDIA isn't stupid they saw how people purchased 30 series cards at insane prices during the so called shortage. That is why the 4090 is 1,600 bucks - in fact it is rebranded TITAN.
The card itself is "OK". Actual performance improvement over my 1070 is minimal in some games, but quite noticeable in others. Correction: I have only noticed a performance improvement in one game: Crysis Remastered. All others had minimal quality or performance benefits from a 2 generation leap in graphics cards. Raytracing is not noticeable in-game unless you pause to look for it, except for the performance impact, which also depends on the game. But the important thing here is resizable bar. In order to enable the feature you have to update the card's video BIOS. To do this you need to install EVGA's Precision X1 software, which crashes when you use it to update the vbios. However this updater failed and told me to open a support case with EVGA. EVGA's support process nothing but a sales pitch to "extend your car's-I-mean-card's warranty before it expires!", which, on top of other bugs and annoyances, makes their support the worst I've experienced with a hardware component EVER. I am now stuck in limbo waiting for EVGA to get back to me, unable to reboot my computer or do anything useful on it until they respond. Save yourself some trouble and get a different brand.
This has been a noticable improvement from a 2070 non-super variant. It hasn't struggled in the least with max settings on Outriders, and DLSS only made that better. Use the quality option over performance though, the later ran very smooth, but the graphics become a little soft and fuzzy looking. I'm running it with 3 monitors, one 2k as the main one, and two 1080p on the sides. It hasn't had and problems so far, and the LEDs look pretty good as well. It takes up two of the pci slots on the back of my tower, but it actually fills in more space behind that as well "girth" wise. Lengthwise, it goes a little ways past my ATX motherboard. I have a midsize tower which accommodates it well, but anyone with a small form tower will likely have to wait for a smaller form ... I got this through the Newegg shuffle, and with several failed attempts with selecting the solo cards, I went with one of the bundles with a psu, and of course that was when it decided I was selected to purchase! Worth the extra in my case, as I could actually use the psu, but these bundles are ineligible for partial returns. Also, the fans are very quiet. If you get lucky enough to get one, you won't be disappointed!
