This used to be my favourite hair product - I actually used it as a texturiser more than a dry shampoo for my fine, straight hair and loved everything about it. Unfortunately, the size has now changed from 300mL to 200mL (same price) but the worst thing is, they changed the formula and have a new quot;freshquot; fragrance...that unfortunately smells like floral old ladys perfume. The old fragrance was fresh/clean/non-offensive. I am so disappointed by these changes, so have gone from a daily user to never purchasing again.

I've used this for a couple of weeks now and I have to say it's really rather good. It doesn't have a strong fragrance which I like. The powder is SUPER fine. You only need a TINY amount, so the chances of ending up with ghostly white hair is almost nil. I spray from a distance after giving the can a good shake; rub it into the roots then up the hair shaft as needed and boom, no more greasy fringe. Brush hair with a natural bristle brush in case there is any excess to remove (non so far). No matt looking hair either. Stays nice and shiny unlike a lot of other products I've used. No need to buy a brown powder to match my hair colour, which when it ends up on your skin makes you look dirty and have to wipe it off. The can should last a good long time too, so even ... MoreI've used this for a couple of weeks now and I have to say it's really rather good. It doesn't have a strong fragrance which I like. I have tried many dry shampoos - Batiste, Toni and guy, Paul Mitchell, Percy and reed etc. I use them to keep my hair clean, (on my non wash day) and add volume at the root when doing an up-do. This smells so clean & fresh plus it's light without leaving any white cast in my dark brown hair. Also considering its a 2 in 1 product with added styling powder, I was expecting there to be the odd white patch. So that was very impressive. On some days i would spray this in my hair and it just comes back to life. The glossy but not Oily appearance, Texture and body. I loved how the scent was subtle and lasted for a good portion of the day. I don't have a bad point to say on the product other then the packaging could be less sterile looking. Amazing dry shampoo. I have tried a lot of dry shampoos and I am very picky with the texture and weight of them. Also, being a brunette, I hate when they leave white residue. This dry shampoo was so lightweight and gave my have the perfect amount of volume without leaving it stiff. AND there was zero white residue. The smell was refreshing and not overwhelming.
Normally I use a well-known cheapish brand of dry shampoo for adding oomph to my hair, or to freshen it up. I wanted to use the Evo dry shampoo for volume. The packaging is nice, minimal and clean looking. It doesn't look cheap. American Vogue have this on their website, under 'Obsessions' for a list of which dry shampoos they love, so I was hoping for good results. I shook the can properly and then, from the recommended distance, sprayed the shampoo on my roots. The shampoo has a subtle, pleasant smell (some brands smell a little like toilet cleaner!) and the powder had a fine, silky feel. I found it brushed out very easily. I managed to get the volume I needed. I definitely recommend this. The other thing I liked was there wasn't any feeling afterwards, or later on, that I had any product residue, which some hair products do leave.
The woman who cut my hair recommended this dry shampoo and I’m hooked. I just bought it again through Sayn and it was delivered quickly without any issues. This dry shampoo is worth the money in my opinion. It’s been recommended to not wash my hair all the time, as I was washing it every day (yikes). I searched for a good dry shampoo for some time but always ended up washing my hair because they didn’t work well. It would feel like there was so much buildup in my hair and it would still get greasy. This dry shampoo is so lightweight, I could use it for a few days and not feel like there’s a bunch of buildup in my hair. Also it SMELLS SO GOOD. Literally I’ve never smelled a dry shampoo like this one, it’s delish. I’m now able to wash my hair only twice a week thanks ... MoreThe woman who cut my hair recommended this dry shampoo and I’m hooked. Even with exercising between washes. It’s great and I’ll never use another dry shampoo :)
Evo have reduced the large size of this from 300mLs to 200mLs, yet kept the price the same. Even worse, the new "fresh" fragrance is awful - like a cheap, floral perfume. Very over-powering and honestly, such a terrible fragrance, compared to the previous, fresh/clean smell. I absolutely adored this product and used it every single day - mainly for volume/texturising. Unfortunately now, I will not purchase it again. Very disappointed.
Hi Team at Oz HairIve been using Evo Water Killer for several years now, but was never aware there was one for brunettes. I am natural platinum blonde, so you can imagine the fright I had when I used my product to suddenly have brown patches all over my hair!Is there an opportunity for me to return the 2 unused items for a refund and re-order. I would sincerely appreciate this. Many thanksJulie
I really like this dry shampoo, however haven't used it for long enough to give a proper review. It's a great product, and it definitely keeps hair looking fresh. I normally use for when my hair really needs it. It definitely helps with the oils and refreshing the hair, feels nice and not as clunky as most other dry shampoos which can make me feel uncomfortable and end up tying my hair up. Overall great product and would buy again :)
I am an every day hair washer and have never tried to be otherwise unless circumstances render hair washing impossible (eg boiler broken, on call for work etc). If i cannot wash my hair in the morning i am not a happy bunny as it becomes oily and heavy at the roots (and as a coloured blonde it always looks darker at the burgeoning roots when darker-eek!) and i feel distinctly not my radiant best. BUT as it turns out this stuff may be the answer- sprayed into oily roots, left for a couple of mins then brushed through a wee bit definitely makes hair look more volumized and fresher and cleaner. hoorah- 2nd day hair emergency saviour product. be warned- i do feel this would leave brunettes looking slightly grey at the roots as does have to white powdery effect so would ... MoreI am an every day hair washer and have never tried to be otherwise unless circumstances render hair washing impossible (eg boiler broken, on call for work etc).
