Exo Terra Jungle Vine - Large
Not all terrarium conditions allow live plants to grow or thrive. Some plant species suffer due to a need for special light requirements, humidity or being prone to being eaten by inhabitants. Artificial plants and vines are exact copies of their natural counterparts and offer the same advantages as live plants. This jungle vine can be used for decorative purposes, for creating hiding places or for enlargement of the dwelling area. These water-proof vines are bendable, twistable life-like vines with a natural feel and look and can be twisted together with vines of different sizes to create a 3-D habitat. Perfect for arboreal reptiles and amphibians.

I have this jungle vine in my crested gecko tank to provide more climbing opportunities. My crested gecko loves it and uses it regularly. However, I wish it were more durable. It began to crack and break the first time I bent it. Plus, it is difficult to wash and the water seems to make it less durable. I have to mist my gecko’s tank regularly so this is getting wet frequently. My gecko enjoys it so much, though.

These are... nice to have for any tree dweller. They are the perfect size for my chameleon to climb on. Problem is they are hard to clean without rubbing the black off and worse, they break rather easily. They aren't meant to be bent into sharper shapes and unfortunately I need that in some of my enclosures. I have better luck with fluker's bend a vine. The fluker brand is also a lot easier to clean as they aren't as corse. These vines are also relatively expensive compared to other competitors. I have found tho that my chameleon prifers these vines over flukers however my whites and Amazon milk frogs prefer the flukers.

Absolutely horrible ! This is the 2nd vine I've bought for my crested gecko and this is absolutely not exceptable ! It's extremely flimsy and I even tried braiding it like the picture and flakes were everywhere and it was still flimsy and way too short to actually be something fuctional for him. He is an adult yes, but he also has some issues with his grip so I need something stong and sturdy. It's so flimsy though, I wouldn't even use it for my baby crested gecko who is way smaller than my other two! Invest in the flukers bendable vine. I can't find it in store but is perfect for my adult female crestie who is also missing 3 toes and dropped her tail already. Sturdy long and I've had it for about 2 or 3 years no issue.

I have a Veiled Chameleon since age 3 months now 8 months in an 18x18x36 with 2 of these vines. He ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO CLIMB on these realistic vines!!! These vines are a MUST for Chameleon Cages! I have both of the vines twisted in different directions and at different angles. Crickets & Dubia Roaches will climb right up the vines for him to eat. Some will get on the Ficus tree leaves, and he loves to hunt this way. Recently he has begun to sleep on one of these vines high up in the cage! I have the vines attached to the screen top with floral wire.
I got these vines during a good sale. I put a couple of them in one snake's 4x2x2 enclosure, and one in a snake's 3x1.5x1.5. I got the large vines, so idk if these are more difficult to twist like some photos show, but I did have some trouble doing so. I ended up twisting the ends some, and formed some abstract bowing shapes with the 2, interconnecting them at a point and anchoring somewhat in substrate and hides. The vines rest on the back of the enclosures as well. They really add some climbing space as well as structure to hang other items on, such as fake plants!
Okay, I’m a sucker for spoiling my pets... and Chewy has so many cool products that it’s hard to resist purchasing a bunch of different things. I bought this and my crested gecko Yoshi loves this! I frequently see him climbing all over it. I have no problems with residue falling off of it inside of his house, but it sheds ever so slightly when I wash it to take any pee marks off. It’s not a big problem at all, and I would definitely recommend this to decorate your reptile’s tank.
Looks decent enough but I really dislike how the texture flakes off and leaves a somewhat tacky rubbery surface. I'd hoped the wire would help support a piece of mopani wood and reduce how much I would have to silicone down in my crested geckos habitat. Bent in half and twisted together got me some nice heft and quite a decent looking vine. But after all of that manipulation some areas look a bit bare and I'm honestly not sure how confident I feel using this in my habitat. I should have skipped this one.
So, I've seen these bendable jungle vines in lots of enclosures and always thought they looked cool but never saw any snakes climbing on them. I decided to add them to my Exo-Terra climbing log and I couldn't be happier. I recommend buying the Large size and the Small size and wrapping the small around the large. They look fantastic, provide climbing fun which makes my snake happy, and give him something rough to rub against while he's shedding. Do yourself a favor and invest in these! They really make your enclosure stand out and your reptile will love them! A happy reptile is a healthy reptile!
The Bendable Jungle Vines are great for creating custom cage interiors. I have used them for my frilled dragons and prehensile-tailed skinks, as well as my green tree python. Intertwined, they can be used for reptiles of just about any size. They add a very natural feel to terrariums. Tip: Wrap artificial ivy around them for an added life-like effect!
These smell awful, I reached out to chewy and offered to send them back, and they told me I could just toss them and they refund my card… well that didn’t happen. Not only are they stinky but I would never give them to my credited as they are sharp to the touch. I am not only disappointed with the product but with chewy as well.
