EzyDog Checkmate Dog Collar Red Small*

I bought this dog collar because many people told me great things about them. I have had this dog collar for 3 years now. It looks as good as new. They are very sturdy and range from many different sizes and colours. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is wanting a dog collar that will last forever.

Excellent quality

I have purchased EZYDOG products before as you can always rely on the quality of the product, However with this collar I was a bit dubious that the plastic clip could withstand the stress and strain my Alaskan Malamute could put on it ( He is a big lad and Malamutes pull like a train ) so I purchased the XL item even though on the smallest sizing it is a little large. I am very pleased to say that I needn't of worried as the collar has survived every mad moment that he has had so far. Highly recommended for big strong dogs.

Good quality

This seems like a heavy duty, quality collar for my large breed dog. The martingale effect helps to keep him in control when I don't have a leash on him. It has to be adjusted properly so he can't choke if he accidentally gets it caught on something, but that can actually be a problem with all collars. Adjusted properly, this is a great collar and definitely recommended.

Great Martingale Collar

I like that fact that the collar can stay on my puppy without worrying about him getting got in anything on it. The martingale collars with chains, I am uncofortable with and don't seem to have the same control on corrections as this collar provides.

Great product

We have a six year old Rottweiler and and it works perfectly on her. Gives her that little more freedom and still remains in control. Much better than the previous halti.collar.. quality of the collar is excellent.

Great product!

We were recommended this collar by our dog trainer and now we know why! Without having to use force or other methods we didn't agree with, this collar has helped our pup walk on the lead and train effectively. It doesn't bother him when it's on, and is easy to put on as well. Highly recommend!

Happy

Strong well worth the money. My dog feeling quite happy wearing it. We have had problem with other collars he seemed reluctant in wear them. But now he's HAPPY we are happy. I certainly recommend the collar value for money.

Long lasting, comfortable dog collars.

Have used these collars for over 10 years. Don't have to replace them very often. They wash well and the dogs find them comfortable to wear. Good adjustability for length.

Not for dogs with long fur!

Not helpful for dogs with long hair. Kept getting fur caught in the slip, which stopped the slip from working effectively. It’s made well and could be used as a standard collar but won’t be using it on my border collie.

Quick and easy

I was looking for a collar that could be easy to slip off my dog when needed instead of having to un clip or un buckle. Once adjusted to the correct size, my dog is secure and under control whilst on the lead. When my dog is off the lead, running free the collar loosens slightly making it more comfortable for the dog. I would recommend this collar for anyone that has a dog that is as active and lively like mine (Labradoodle)
