12 Newest Colors RULE!

I use Pitt Artist Pens, Brush Tip for everything from sketching to fine art. They are durable, pigmented, light fast and the ink lasts a long time. I found out with two successive sets of 48 that they do survive being stored for years and then used, no problem. Eventually I gave my old set to my granddaughter and took the plunge for the set of 60 full range.Wow! The additional 12 colors all filled gaps, from new tints to much needed greens and blues and a true fiery red. The big set is still amazingly convenient and the brush tips allow fine detail, thick-thin line, easy texturing and fairly easy fill-ins by leaning them on angle to sweep a broad stroke with the side of the tip. This helps to keep the fine point from mashing down.Big Brush are fun too. Anyone ... MoreI use Pitt Artist Pens, Brush Tip for everything from sketching to fine art. Anyone who likes a round brush over a flat may prefer these to chisel tip markers for marker art - and unlike Tombow dual tip, these are permanent and lightfast for fine art! Great for mixed media and for sketching under pastels.

Faber-Castell is quality across the board. The Pitt India Ink Brush Pens are one of my favorite art supplies for over a decade. Previously Ive gotten dozens of the sampler packages, this is my first boxed set. Excitingly there are numerous colors here that dont come in smaller soft pack sets. While I keep my other Brush Pens in old tin, this box folds to create a stand and sections pull out in tiers. Without hesitation these earn a high praise, you cant go wrong on these. As a professional artists they provide such a great finish, they are good at any skill level..

GREAT FOR COLORING BOOKS!!

I use these for coloring books. I have four or five of the 6-pen packs, and together they provide a great range, if a bit heavy in blues, yellows, browns, and greys. I'm obviously not an artist, and my experience with pens is rather limited, but I absolutely love using these pens. When used with a light stroke they feel like a small paint brush, and they can be used for quite delicate work.

Great art pens!

I absolutely love the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen Brushes. They draw and color super smoothly and don’t bleed into other areas. The colors are very nice and vibrant as well. I do wish they came with more colors though

Great colors for drawing
7 July 2022

These pastel color artist pens are great and the colors are vibrant and help make drawings really pop and stand out. My son likes to draw and has been using these for a couple of days and just loves them. I like how they really make his drawings stand out and adds to the depth and details of the drawings.

Great pens
27 January 2023

I use Faber Castell brush pens and have done for years. The colors are vibrant and archival quality so resist fading. The brush tips stand up quite well. It's not necessary to press when using the brush pens but if you have a hard touch when using pens, the brush tip will lose it's "point" faster.

These pens are amazing! I love the felt tip and how easy of lines these pens have! They draw so smoothly and are perfect!! Definitely need every color in these. They’re easy to draw and color with as well. You won’t be disappointed

Oh my, These pens are amazing!
19 May 2023

I took a chance with these brush pens, but I was very familiar with Fabre-Castill and trust the name. The pigment of the colours are beautiful. They move smoothly on the paper, over watercolour paint, and do not bleed through the paper. They blend well and once dry they are permanent. Fun to use with mix media, sketching, journaling etc. This set comes in a lovely box and the choices of colours are superb.

Pastel Paradise
9 May 2023

I can’t stop raving about my new set of Daber Castell Pitt Artist pens. These pens consist of 6 pastel (pink, blue, green, yellow, gray and lilac) pen/brushes that are perfect for my calligraphy invitation designs. The colors are vibrant and beautiful which result in magnificent artwork that resist fading. Another big plus is that the tips retain their shape no matter how hard I press upon them. Would recommend highly!

Strongly pigmented; don't bleed at all!
10 November 2015

I bought the 60-set (which is not pictured here on Blick or on Faber-Castell's website, even though it's listed as an option, oddly enough) and I couldn't be more pleased. I am a watercolor painter as well as a potter as well as a coloring-book-color-er.I had originally bought a giant set of Prismacolor brush tip markers (200 + a set of neutral grays.) I wanted to be able to sketch color values and color schemes for future paintings and pots and also be able to color in my coloring books for relaxation. The Prismacolor markers bled through EVERY paper surface I tried them on: thin sketchbook paper, thick sketchbook paper, coloring book pages, smooth bristol...turns out that you can only use marker paper with those. So I couldn't use those for plein-air sketching ... MoreI bought the 60-set (which is not pictured here on Blick or on Faber-Castell's website, even though it's listed as an option, oddly enough) and I couldn't be more pleased. I wanted to be able to sketch color values and color schemes for future paintings and pots and also be able to color in my coloring books for relaxation. The Prismacolor markers bled through EVERY paper surface I tried them on: thin sketchbook paper, thick sketchbook paper, coloring book pages, smooth bristol...turns out that you can only use marker paper with those. So I couldn't use those for plein-air sketching or for planning out compositions of color in my sketchbook like I wanted to. I returned the Prismacolor marker set and tried my friend's 48-set of these Faber-Castell markers.I LOVE them and will be sticking with this marker brand from now on!The 60-set comes with a gradient of warm grays as well as cool grays, and most of the actual colors Faber-Castell makes (only missing about 5). As I said, they don't bleed (not horizontally and not through the paper either - not even my thin sketchbook paper) and they actually blend well, too. You can come up with new colors by layering two or three...and the brush tips are not only strong, but they don't suck color UP. So you can layer a light gray over a deep, vibrant red and calm the vibrancy down a bit...without discoloring your light grey marker point at all. They're fabulous and now that I have the set I will simply replace individual colors as they run out. If I could change one thing I would add more variations of orange because it leans heavily on the blue/green side of the spectrum...but that's really just me being picky.I would absolutely buy these again for myself, as a present, etc. They are the best quality art marker in their class and a worthy gift for your "artsy" friend in your life without coming off as patronizing them (yanno...with like a "My First Painting" kit or something, haha!)
