Smoothest rollerball refill I ever bought! It fit perfectly in my Metropolitan Museum Of Art rollerball pen, and when I wrote with it as soon as I opened the refill, the writing experience was as smooth as a whistle! I was practically gliding my pen across the paper without any pressure from my hand because of how smoothly it wrote. The ink color is a nice standard blue, too, so I hope to see more color options for these Faber-Castell rollerball refills. Because the pen wrote so smoothly, the rollerball did not catch or seem scratchy like other rollerball pens out there, and it writes with a fairly fine line width.Overall, zero complaints, here! Standard rollerball refill that fits my pen perfectly and writes beautifully!

A great refill I've used for years

I was very surprised to see this refill with such a low rating on the actual Faber Castell website. I currently have about five of these refills in multiple rollerball pens as I type this. The dark, inky lines rival that of Montblanc, Lamy, Ohto and Schmidt. The dry time is very fast but the color (black, specifically) is still very dark. Because of this I get clean lines with no smearing. The metal refill adds a nice weight to my pens, but I've noticed the tip is wider than most rollerball refills. For pens like the Sarasa Grand it won't fit stock. This refill also does NOT write a fine line. It writes bolder and thicker.

I am so pleased with the refill for my pen. I found that they fit other pens that I have. I just need more. It was great to use my beautiful pink Conklin Mark Twain Rollerball. Unfortunately, I write so much at my job that the refill only lasted one week.I just need more.Thank you.

when the cartridge reaches the end, but it is not yet empty, the ink quality decreases. But I mean, really for a long time. It is as if the cartridge was air in and you have to shake the pencil regularly to continue writing. I end up getting bored and I change cartridge. What makes for 6 cartridge I fully uses about 5. I intend to try another kind of cartridge soon, I think for the price the quality is not at the rendezvous.
