1 of my 7 indoor cats simply refuses to let a day pass without me feeding her fancy feast. She likes all the chunks in gravy/silced/grilled flavors, basically anything except for the pate.I was surprised when I opened this latest order and saw how big the "slices" are. Overall it seems to be the same as others, but the size of the little meat pieces is just huge, and therefore my picky princess refuses to eat it.She may consider licking the gravy off, however, she leaves every single big chunk of meat on her plate. I even tried cutting it for her, but trust me she knows and she is not falling for it.So, just a warning, when it comes to meaty morsels in the fancy feast, apparently size matters.

I don’t know what chewy thinls about it’s consumer but I’m learning towards they think we’re dumb. On several orders the cover on the can isn’t what’s inside. It’s very obvious at times that I’m not receiving the product that I ordered. My cat is very finicky and drew my attention to his food. I went through several cans until I found out EXACTLY what he eats. I noticed how he wasn’t eating the food my daughter was putting down so I began to pay attention to the product and noticed that it’s not the same product just the same wrapper on the cans. This has happened more than a couple of times. Yesterday I had the opportunity to serve Fancy Feast’s “chicken feast in gravy” to my cats. I split the can between them, and they gobbled it right up. Definitely five stars from Atlas and Apollo!I liked it because the name sounds appetizing. I’m not one to serve my cat something that doesn’t sound appetizing. Chicken feast in gravy sounds like thanksgiving. Also, upon opening the can I found that it didn’t have any kind of unpleasant odor that some cat food has. It smelled and looked appealing. The cats obviously agreed.I also liked that the flavor was chicken. Same as last time. The canned products were packed too good. That is rare nowadays. The plastic containers of Temptations were all cracked with one spilling all its contents into the shipping box.The way the plastic containers were cracked tells me the box was thrown around. The boxes of canned food pinched the plastic containers by sliding around inside the shipping container especially when the boxes landed on the floor. Box was way too heavy to handle. Too much product was stuffed into one box.I recommend the products, its the packing that needs work. With the cost of pet supplies, receiving damaged products can not be tolerated in these times.
I’ve noticed that a number of people have commented about the poor quality of the Grilled Fancy Feast wet cat food. I’ve noticed the same thing lately. It’s gooey and the meat products appear to be degraded. All of the grilled chicken, beef and turkey varieties appear to look the same and they all have some weird smell. Even the cans bought from a grocery store have the same issues. This has been happening for the past few months and it’s not getting any better. In fact it maybe worse. Fancy Feast used to offer great food that my cats loved now they have a hard time eating it if they eat it at all. I’m not buying any more. I have to switch to something else. I’ve thrown out a lot of cans because I don’t trust what I’m looking at.
I received this free product to try and review. The Fancy Feast sliced chicken feast in gravy wet cat food is the perfect size to mix with a little hard food. My cat seemed very interested the second I opened it. When she smelled it, was instantly started meowing for it. I mixed it in her bowl with a little hard food and she ate it all. I am feeding this product to my five year old, female, indoor only tabby. I have determined my furbaby enjoys gravied canned wet cat food more than more solid type consistencies. This Fancy Feast Grilled Chicken Feast in Gravy definitely hits the mark. There are small, tender cuts of grilled chicken that are great for her nutritional needs but they are bathed in an inviting gravy that she certainly enjoys. I likely the appearance and it looks like a high quality meal that gives an opportunity to bond with my pet at feeding time. My senior cat loves this, and so does my younger one. I buy it mostly for my senior cat; she likes the gravy and usually prefers chicken or seafood flavored foods. I thought she didn't want to finish her portion (I give her a spoonful on her dish, not the whole can at once), and she didn't finish it at first. I put it in the fridge and gave it to her with some water mixed in a few hours later, and she finished it and ate another spoonful! That's how I know she like it--she finished the leftovers and wanted more. She will want variety eventually, so I'll be trying something else soon!
