I've played all the Far Cry games and enjoyed them all to some extent with the exception of FC 5. I didn't get very far into 6 but after playing for a day I was just bored. Its the same old thing and its uninspired and dull. There's only one save slot, no manual saving, and auto health regen even on the hardest difficulty.The only improvement over FC 5 is the enemy spawn rate. It is much more reasonable and doesn't throw enemies at you constantly.

Same open world fun you'll find in most FarCry games. Can feel a little overwhelming at times with the amount of things to do.The graphics and sounds are amazing and definitely a great way to show off your console and TV to friends, family and even yourself.Played on:Xbox Series XLG CX

The most expansive instalment in the series thus far. Solid story, vibrant, engaging characters and no shortage of things to do. More of the same, but better executed than before. Look absolutely stunning on Series X - the old engine has been squeezed for everything it's worth. Overall A pleasant surprise.

Far Cry 6 is a great game, in my own personal opinion, GTA V is the only ps4 game that is better than it.I have spent many hours playing Far Cry 6 on my ps4, the map is huge, the scenery of the ocean and terrain is spectacular, you have the total freedom to do what you want to do and to go where you want to go, the game play is very addictive and you get to go into your battles with a crocodile, rooster, panther, I definitely recommend this game.
Far Cry 6 has a slightly bigger map but with plenty ocean instead of land, between A to B destination - there's a lot of nothing in between and got to waste hours of running/driving to get the destinations or hours of loading if fast travel/air drop. Slight change of base captures and side quests is somewhat similiar to previous farcry games. Hope next release will be less time wasting. Few short freezes in gaming for Xbox One (when a lot of NPCs in the area) - might not be an issue for X Series...
The latest installment of the brilliant franchise sees the, by now, usual fare of quality storylines, almost real world weapons & vehicles interspersed with fictional ones and action aplenty as our hero sets about securing a huge open world from the hands of an evil dictator (voiced by the superb Giancarlo Esposito) and his army of soldados.Get set for chaotic battles and plenty of travel with vehicles (air, land and sea) being critical to be able to move about a vast map.The Far Cry franchise has moved from strength to strength and is one series that fails to disappoint with each new release.Ubisoft have, once again, shown their "cojones" with a brilliant, immersive experience.
I played all of the FARCRY games in the series. I really enjoyed FARCRY 5 and originally thought that it was better than the new one. But the more I played 6 the more I appreciated more. A great game indeed. The only thing that I'm not enjoying and find it super frustrating is the loot pick ups. You litterally have to get up close and look straight at the loot. And painfully slow. Yes you can change the button configurations like double tap or tap to grab the loot instead of holding down the command. But the problem is you have to look straight at the items l.
I pre-ordered this game and had no problems receiving it, great service. The game itself is amazing, with fast framerate and and great graphics. Alot of detailing has gone into the game. With a awesome storyline with a throwback to the style of Far Cry 4 mixed in with alot of upgrades, it is worth the buy.
Looks and feels like a Far Cry game.If you have played Far Cry New Dawn you will have a good idea of the mechanics of the game.Only thing I didn't like was having to create a Ubisoft Account before it will allow you to play.
Not a terrible title but doesn't do anything we haven't seen before from almost every farcry title since 3 Map is huge and after a few hours is just tedious to travel around. Wait for the price to come down before you buy
