I bought this trainer last winter to get me through the days where riding outside isn't a fun option. I have done over 1000 miles on it now so I have a good feeling for how it works.Getting it out the box and set up is straight forward. The front fork clamp into the front of the frame and the rear wheels sit on the rollers at the rear I've got two road bikes that I use and switching requires a quick adjustment due to the different wheelbase.To me, they feel somewhere between the road and rollers.The frame is stable and only one have I felt unstable (but I was leaving way over to reach the remote for the TV). I bought this roller for indoor training in wet and blustery weather. It fits both of my road bikes - one of which has disk brakes. Fitting is very easy as the roller comes with adaptors that make it compatible with different types of axle set-ups e.g. it works perfectly with the front thru axle on my Orbea.The roller provides good resistance and the feel is better, in my opinion, than a turbo trainer. The Feedback Sports Ommium Overdrive is a very well built, compact sized trainer. It folds very compact so it can be stored under the sofa or standing in a corner inside its bag.I'm an occasional cyclist that needed a compact trainer for a small apartment, for those rainy days or just the COVID19 quarantine. It's so easy to setup and just start cycling in minutes.Tip: for a perfect wheel placement on back rollers, turn the rollers inwards - toward the center of the bike wheel, until you feel the friction is equal on both sides and wheel doesn't turn easily to either side. If not, just losen the adjusting screw and adjust slightly. The perfect adjustment will prevent vibration on back wheel.
excellent roller trainer, my first time having an indoor trainer. I use with my hardtail with 27.5 x 2.8 tire on a 40mm wide rim with knobby tires. I inflate tire to 30 psi, 35 psi is max recommended. No problems. The 15 x 110 front axle adapter has very tight tolerances which gives the front end a solid feeling when riding the bike.
You can winter ride in Colorado, but the grit and other winter debris on the road make for messy and sometimes hazardous pedaling. Last year, I bought a fluid trainer, but didn't like the fact that you were so locked in place, like a spin bike. I wanted a little movement. This winter I have the Feedback Omnium trainer and couldn't be more satisfied. It's pretty stable even though it definitely works best on a truly flat surface.
