I ordered the socks because in the picture, they appeared to have longer tops. (come farther up the calf) which I like. If there is a health reason for the shorter (quarter tops) then I can live with that. If not, I prefer longer tops. I have been advised to wear compression socks for blood flow. I'm 92!Also, they make my big toe uncomfortable. So yesterday I picked up a larger pair to see how they feel.

I run marathons. I've tried many socks - Darn Tough, Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. But these are the best running socks I've worn. They are soft, but not too soft as to be slippery. They provide just enough cushion. And the quarter height keeps small rocks and leaves from getting into the feet. The colors fade after a while, but functionality doesn't. I can wear the same pair for an entire week of as long as I water-wash them immediately after the run.

Feetures put out great products. The Elite Light Cushion Quarter socks are no different. I tend to purchase socks that provide cushion and durability so these are a change of pace for me. First, these socks are very durable for being a light cushion (aka thinner material). My experience with these kind of socks is they wear quickly in front of the sock or in the heel. However, there is no sign of wear after some extensive use. These worked great at keeping feet dry while working out and running. The wicking and breathable build worked well too. From playing football in the front yard with only the socks on to wearing them in a rugged and long hike, these socks have lasted well. The socks do not shift while running and stay pulled up with just the right amount of ... MoreFeetures put out great products. The Elite Light Cushion Quarter socks are no different. The socks do not shift while running and stay pulled up with just the right amount of elastic. My only complaint is they feel loose around the top of the foot. If I were doing speed running or playing a sporting event requiring sprints then this may cause a problem (I doubt it but maybe). Overall another fine product by Feetures with the durability, comfort, and fashionable looked I’ve come to expect from the company.

Good for running
25 October 2021

OK to Good socks for most high output athletic activities. Not so good for just day hiking. Just not the right socks for me. You might like them. The big selling point for these socks is a left and right sock and no seam toe. I didn't see much difference in the fit of these socks with the left and right vs. other socks. They looked nicer on my feet but the feel wasn't any different. The no seam toe means the seam is on the left and right instead of across the top. I rarely have any socks with issues with the toe seam. Never usually feel it. These socks I felt the seam on my toes on both sides in multiple shoes. It wasn't irritating but it was there. The socks are really thin. They fit fine for my running shoes. Or had to really adjust the shoe strings. On their own the socks were a bit hot. They seemed to wick ok while doing an activity but when changing socks my feet were more sweaty than my typical socks (other athletic socks or more typical wool blend socks for day hikes). If you like really thin socks that wick these may work for you. They didn't work for me. I won't stop using them but will only use them when light weight is a priority.

Great socks, totally worth the price
2 July 2024

Love these! I'm allergic to wool so finding good hiking socks can be a little challenging, but these are fantastic. They're really thin and don't get too hot, they're perfect for hiking and camping, have a great cushion, and are just really comfortable. Also, I have VERY (like comically) sweaty feet, and they were only a little damp by the end of the day which is frankly remarkable.

I am a 48 year
15 August 2024

I am a 48 year old male and run approximately 50 miles a month. I desperately needed a sock upgrade and tried a few different brands. Feetures is a clear winner. They feel amazing just putting them on. No blisters, perfect level of cushioning, and keep your feet dry in these humid North Carolina summers. Highly recommended and will purchase again.

Only worn them a few times, but I think they are great so far. I ran a couple longer runs with them, and truthfully admitting, these are my first pairs of real running socks since I quit running in the 80's. Back then it was THORLOs but these are so light and absorbing that I already love them better than any others I have tried in the past.

Past Feetures socks have held up longer than these
13 March 2024

I've been such a fan of Feetures. They were the first running socks I purchased years ago and changed the game for me. I bought these a few months ago and haven't had them for that long and there's already a small hole forming on the left sock where it goes from blue to dark blue. So disappointing as I'm training for a half marathon. Hoping that this was just a bad batch.

Perfect for All Activities
1 December 2021

I've been using a pair of the Feetures Elite Light Cushion socks for the past few weeks and I must say they are wonderful! Primarily used while trail running, but I've also used them on afternoon mountain bike rides and post activity social gatherings. The material is perfect at keeping my feet warm during wet forest adventuring. I've had trouble in the past with socks getting wet and causing hot spots on my feet, but on both wet adventures I had zero hot spots or areas of worry. The fit of the socks were perfectly designed to fit the shape of my foot. The cushioned areas provided just the right amount of support. And the best part was they didn't fall down or become loose during a run or ride. I can easily see myself replacing all my current socks with Feetures in ... MoreI've been using a pair of the Feetures Elite Light Cushion socks for the past few weeks and I must say they are wonderful! Served me well in the Tokyo marathon
14 March 2024

I’ve always worn ultra light no-show feetures but a blister a month out from the marathon got me in a panic. The socks were old so I ordered replacements and also decided to give the elite light version a go in the quarter length as I thought there would be less likely to ride down (I’ve had very occasional issues with the socks slipping down inside my shoes). Wore them twice to break them in and had spares in case I needed a change but they were absolutely perfect. Really comfortable, no movement and I think the extra cushioning helped. I’ll be buying more.
