I started using feline natural during Covid. I also use Ziwi but I was having problems getting the supply at that time. The ingredients are similar and my two cats prefer the feline natural. I do prefer Ziwi but I’m doing good combining both. For dry food I use Open Farm 2 pound bags a little bit more expensive but they’re eating a fresher product. Also, if you have a finicky cat for treats like I do, I found shameless pets.

I'm so glad I found Feline Natural! Since one of my cats developed GI issues it has been a long (and at times messy) journey trying to find a suitable wet food .. .One that he also loves to eat. I tried my vet's recommendation of Royal Canin and Hills sensitive lines and prescription lines which were ok but he got bored and turned his nose up eventually. I've tried many other very healthy brands but they were either not quite right or not tasty enough. This Feline Natural Lamb and Salmon Feast flavour is his favourite. He also likes Lamb Feast and Beef and Hoki Feast. Not a fan of the plain Beef nor the chicken (not surprisingly as I found out he has a reaction to turkey, so best he avoid all foul products anyway). So it's worth every cent... And he's eating less now anyway because the food isn't going straight through him. His coat is super shiny and healthy and he's more playful. It's been months and he isn't bored or turning away from this food . The other great news is my other cat loves this food too so everyone is satisfied and I don't have to do separate feedings to keep the GI cat from eating something he shouldn't. I haven't tried the freeze dried options yet but that will be next.

I’ve been buying this for years because my cats love it and it’s really good quality. But this last batch I ordered is bad or something. The color is off, it smells funny and so far the few cans I’ve opened have been like this. My cats won’t even touch it. I threw the rest out. I don’t know if I trust ordering this again.
My 11 cats have been eating Feline Natural for years. I received my order today and noticed the box and plastic wrap these cans were packaged in was different. Then I noticed the cans are silver instead of the usual gold. So I looked at the ingredient list and saw the ingredients had been switched around but more less seemed the same, until I looked at the "Guaranteed Analysis" to see the taurine level had changed from 0.1% to 0.06%. Why?? I feed my cats other foods as well, so I'm not too concerned about the taurine, but I'm waiting to see if switching the ingredients around is going to affect their taste for it. If so, I will be returning all 3 cases.
Once of my kitties has suffered from GI issues his entire life. As a kitten he suffered from diarrhea, mucus, and blood in his stool. He had been tested for parasites (giardia and trichomonas but the tests were negative.)He had been eating Royal Canin PR for 5 years and been doing pretty well but had become bored of the same food. After trying other food brands without any luck, Feline Natural allows my boy to receive variety in his diet. No GI signs! He likes all flavors but the ones with beef.I like that the food is relatively low in phosphorus (< 300mg/100cal) and has no gelling agents.Unfortunately, my other cats do not seem interested in eating this food so I will continue to be a short order "can opener" at my house.
I've introduced this flavour to my cats after Chicken Feast was a hit. Unfortunately one of my cats starts scratching the floor around when he smells the food and is reluctant to eat, I have to mix in some dry food (a.k.a junk food) to entice him to eat his meal. He still finishes the food but needs some encouragement. I won't be buying this flavour in the future as I don't think my cat enjoys this as much as Chicken Feast and will try out other flavours. 4 stars for quality, minus 1 star as my cat doesn't enjoy it.

The food was an odd color and smelled different. I let my cats give it a try and they both got diarrhea from it. Thinking I just got a bad batch, Chewy kindly sent me a replacement but unfortunately it had the same issue. I then contacted Feline Natural directly to inquire if they had changed their formula, to which they replied they had recently changed their can manufacturer but the product was unchanged and any perceived differences are attributable to seasonal variances in source ingredients. I love this food, it has such great ingredients, but it made my cat throw up. This is a great brand with high quality ingredients, but it is very rich and heavy. It's worth a try if your looking for quality cat food, but just monitor your cat for tummy irritation. I really wanted this food to work.
Feline Natural was one of my staples but my order from last week I had to return, the lamb meat was crumbly instead of the usual big chunk, and so much more water, I’d say it was 40% water, the cans used to have 10% water. Maybe they are cutting cost but for a novel expensive cat food protein they should know better. Ziwi Peak still has exceptional quality so I will be shifting to them instead.
