The hissing, chasing, slapping, biting has ceased. They look for each other when starting their afternoon naps. They sleep back to back curled up touching each other. Previously, they would keep an eye on each other and be ready to move away quickly. Calmness has descended on the house. I am beyond happy to have achieved this with my own encouraging and rewarding of good behaviour. They are both easy to deal with and their feeding and sleeping routine is better. They stay indoors for longer sleep periods, only going outside to toilet and then return. They also both stay in at night which did not happen before. The larger cat was out all night returning in the late morning. I am very happy to recommend this behaviour changing plug in. It even calms the dog.

I have three cats and a dog. My two cats aged 10 years and the other 5 years were best cuddly friends last year but this year the hormones are explosive. The dominate small female cat is acting defensive hissing and punching the new large male 5 yr old Siberian Forest cat rescue cat. She hides, over grooms, cries early morning and acts like she is being hunted by the large male cat. The female hits the male in the face and he bites her and pushes her off the bed. Not a happy marriage. I had used a cheap quality brand of plug in previously but it took ages to work. I bought this new pack and plugged it into the spare bedroom where the cats and dog sleep. 15 mins later the dog was in deep sleep and the cats were acting all motherly, they were being kind to each other. ... I was scared that I may waste my money on this product but I feel with all my positive reinforcement and relaxed attitude the cats will become friends again. I will keep you updated. My Female (Yip Female, not my Male) was peeing in my house and spraying, she seemed out of character and was also grooming a lot! As an alternative from taking her to the vets I thought I'd try a Feliway Diffuser first, I know they're not cheap but it'd probably be cheaper than a Vets Visit! The vet recommended one also, So got one, plugged it in and I can happily 100% Say Both my cats are So happy and cuddly, My female hasn't peed in the house in 2 months, not even a small spray or anything, Nothing they both Love lying near the diffusers too, so they're Obviously Happy and they're SO chilled and relaxed!They do take about a week to start working fully, mine worked quicker, but my cats are Chilled, Happy, No Spraying, No over grooming and they both love lying near ... I have three 10-year-old Maine Coons who, although having lived together their whole lives, have little tolerance for each other.The feliway plug-in is odourless and silent and, as a human, I am totally unaware of it in the house. Unfortunately my cats also seem unaware. I haven't seen any noticeable difference in their behaviour during these three weeks. They are still fighting periodically (I just had to separate one and put her in a different room for intimidating her sister), although there has possibly been less scratching of the sofa when dinner is due.The cats aren't generally too phased by fireworks so I can't say if they were affected by the feliway as it had only just ... We recently introduced our 7mth old to our new 3mth old kitten. It was a total disaster - we had a very unhappy resident kitty and unfortunately resulted in lots of aggressive behaviour, stalking and bullying.This product has definitely had a positive effect on our kittens, albeit aided by time, patience, separation and re-introduction and lots of cuddles and attention for both. So it's definitely not the only factor that has made a difference, but it has contributed to turning our kittens from arch nemesis into star crossed lovers.If your situation is similar to mine it's atleast worth a try.P.S if you are in this situation and feel like things just are never going to get better, please don't be disheartened and just stick with it!
We got this for our 18-month old brothers, who started fighting recently. Before buying this, we checked that they were not competing for resources, toys, treats, and space, and made sure that there were no areas where they could trap each other. We also make sure to always play with them for a good 15 minutes twice a day. All of that helped a lot, but didn't stop all the fighting, so we bought Feliway Friends and almost immediately there was a massive reduction in their fighting. Now, they rarely fight. We know when we need to buy more refills, because they start fighting again when it runs out!!!
This product is advertised as a starter kit and implied it was the plug in and the product, but it wasn't. It was just the product. Luckily I had an old plug in so was able to use it. Hence I marked it 3/5 stars as it wasn't as advertised, and I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a whole kit to start off. However, the product itself is good and did seem to have a calming effect on warring siblings, so I would say it is good quality.

In one week the behaviour of one cat towards the other (who was very passive) deteriorated very quickly - cat 1 was blocking the cat 2, sitting on top of her holding her scruff in his mouth, chasing her out of the house, pulling out clumps of her fluff and generally picking on her. I was confused as to why his behaviour had changed so suddenly - we have a quiet house with a cat flap and plenty of space inside to get away from each other. There had been no recent changes to our home either. We bought three plugs for a four bed house. The issue resolved within one day. Big relief. I wanted to update on the impact of this plug in. The cats are calmer and tolerant of each other. I have seen them interact better and give each other space. They are less vocal, no chasing or hunting behaviour. They sleep in a curled up ball position without keeping an eye on each other. They are sleeping for longer periods without interruption and behave less ratty towards each other. I am very happy and feel less tense.
