My cat is an extremely fussy eater and cautious about trying new foods. She is prone to being sick when new things are introduced to her diet so I approached this one carefully. However, the very first time I served her Felix as Good As it Looks, she immediately showed interest and happily ate it all, even licking her bowl clean! She got on well with the Felix and has not been sick at all since trying the various flavours in this multipack. She is not keen on the salmon flavour but I'd say that's just down to her personal taste rather than a criticism of the product itself.Overall, my cat's reaction tells me that this is a good product but I have deducted one star as I feel there is a bit too much jelly in these meals. I also think it could be improved by having a higher fish/meat ration as the ingredients list shows that the fish is actually quite a small percentage of the overall content.

My 2 cats really like this, they always leave some food to go dry and get thrown away, they did do this with some "as good as it looks", but less so, maybe they have too much food given to them. They are both house cats so probably don't need as much to eat as cats that go outdoors and burn off more energy. They definitely prefer this wetfood over other choices they have been given.

I received a free sample of this product, however I do now buy this on a regular basis. Both my cats love this food but due to allergies I can now only feed it to one of them, so mealtimes are interesting our house. I have to keep my allergic cat in a separate room whilst putting this out as he would come running as soon as I opened the packet.I like that it doesn't have a strong fishy smell, there are good chunks of meat that look fresh and feel substantial, not mushy or flakey. As I feed a mixture of wet and dry food the packet lasts a little longer and stays nice and fresh when I use a bag clip. The only criticism I have is that sometimes the consistency of the jelly is too varied from packet to packet. Sometimes there is far more jelly than actual ... I've never fed my cat Felix until now and he loves it. There is an empty bowl each time. The food doesnt smell, and looks like proper meaty chunks. Very little cutting/mushing of the food as it's already in bite sized chunks. The food does have quite a lot of jelly in the packet. The pouches are easy to open with a small tear across the top. Each flavour has it's own colour so easy to distinguish between them.Overall would recommend the product and so would my cat!
Since kittens our three fur babies (Willow, Milo and Charlie) have been given Felix as Good as it Looks, they particularly enjoy the cod and tuna flavours albeit Felix also have a meaty selection - chicken, beef, salmon and tuna too which they thoroughly enjoy eating too (like to mix it up to keep them happy). The price is fair for a good brand but more special offers at the supermarkets or direct would be much better. The pouches in the summer aren't the greatest though as if you don't bin them separately you'll probably have flies around your bin due to the remains of the pouches that you can't get out.The other issue is that sometimes the food can be a bit hard or contained within it's pouch as much as you try to get it all out properly the cat sorts of looks ... Sorry won't go off tandem but we are more satisfied with that service and the quality of the pouches than this box.Overall, we are satisfied with Felix and Purina but along the lines our cats have had some dental issues, we think it's related to the long-term food but wouldn't be too sure as we aren't producers or manufacturers.I think we will try to put our Willow (now 8) onto the older cat version of this food to try, we haven't stopped buying the brand for nearly 8 years so won't drop it now, albeit our cats are partial to the occasional treat of Thrive Pet Food.
Purina have ruined mealtimes for my cats. It used to be simple: they would eat all flavours of AGAIL apart from salmon. Then they would ask for, and get more; like hobbits, they had second breakfasts. They enjoyed AGAIL for years. Since the recipe changes, they reject most of the sachets they are offered. It isn't one cat being picky: they are fed in separate places and when two cats in different rooms simultaneously take one sniff at the same food and stalk off, there is something up. So I try a different sachet, usually with the same result. I am spending a small fortune on trying to find AGAIL flavours and other foods which they will enjoy. Whatever Purina tell customers, something has changed and not for the better.
Really good value. My cat won't eat anything else but A.G.A.IL Felix. Just wish you sold the other varieties, especially the one with veggies. That's her favourite.
I have three cats ad they absolutely love this range of Purina Felix food pouches. They couldn't wait to tuck into them and they seem to have enjoyed all varieties equally. The only problem that I found with them, was that the cats all seemed to lick off the gravy first, rather than eating the meat, and they tended to push the bits of meat over the edge of their dish. The floor was a bit messy with it, but I left it and the cats polished off every bit. I found that the cats found these quite moreish and they weren't happy with one pouch each and looked for a second. I don't think I'd buy these as their every day food, as my cats seem to need more to fill them, but I'll definitely keep some in reserve for days when I think they deserve a special treat. Purina say they only removed the colourants, but it smells horrible now and my cat (who will eat anything) is refusing to eat it. Within an hour its turning red - purina say its bacteria and its my fault (it isnt). Additionally I left some down for a couple of hours while I went out. Came back and slugs had got in and were eating it. Cat refuses but slugs love it. Theres now 8k people in a group on Facebook about this new felix many stories of cats puking after eating this. Purinas response has been woeful
Just wanted to reiterate what the previous reviewer says. My poor 11 year old girl has suffered on this food & didnt until they changed the recipe. Natures Gourmet by the same manufacturer has upset her too. Try the group on that social media platform for more details. The manufacturer is denying it.
