Am surprised by the quality of this mouse pad! This is value for money for sure! Sticks well to the table and doesn’t move much. Tracking speed is good, it’s like a medium stopper too. Overall am happy with the purchase. Definitely recommended for someone looking for a cheap and good quality mouse pad for work. It is a bit small for gaming.

It's a mousepad! it's black, wide and deep enough, low profile, soft, etc. My mouse glides right over it no problem and I don't find myself running of the mousepad. It is a popular item at work, and we distribute them to all the new hires and employees that need a replacement mousepad.

I bought this mousepad a couple months ago and it's worked great. The material is very soft and feels good on the hand. I left the edge of my monitor on the side, which should've caused some depression in the material, but it actually came back up very quickly, almost like a memory foam matress. I only have 2 complaints. If you rest your hand on the edge of the mousepad, the frayed edges may cause some discomfort over time. Additionally, my hands can get somewhat sweaty during gaming, and the sweat absorbs into the mousepad and stays there for a while.

I bought this to replace an old mouse pad I had. My desk is glass so a mouse pad was necessary. I tried a few of the fancier ones with the ergonomic gel wrist add-on as well as a larger size mouse pad but didn't really like them. I prefer this original mouse pad. The dimensions are about 8'x9' which fits on my desk perfectly. Quality is good and the color is a solid black (not an off-black that one would expect if it were of low quality). Worth it for the $3 I paid & would definitely recommend.
I needed a new mouse mat, and this simple one is perfect. The surface is great for my optical mouse, and the rubber bottom does a solid job keeping it from sliding. The mat is thinner than most mouse mats I've used, but not so thin that it's at risk for wrinkling. It should pack easily for travel, and you can even roll it up. Overall, a great mouse mat if you're looking for a simple, cost-effective solution.
I've been needing a new mouse pad for sometime now. I like the medium size a lot better then the small ones. As others have mentioned it came wrapped on a piece of cardboard the size of the pad so it's not rolled up. The mouse is wireless & works perfect. There are no snagging points when moving it around. Yes its just a mouse pad but its a good one. The price was very good. I'm sure I'll get another 20 years outta this one. I'd recommend this pad to any pc user.
So one of my problems is that I was never able to find the dimensions of the mousepad so I had no idea how big it was going to be, so I decided to go off of the reviews, bad idea. All of the reviews said that it was good, one even said it was good for gaming which is not true at all. I wanted to use this mousepad for gaming but its way to small, its annoying to move your mouse around on and when you buy it there are a whole bunch of hidden fees, like shipping is 5 bucks and tax is another dollar which all comes down to 13 bucks. While it is good for comfort and it seems like it will be able to last a pretty long time, its terrible for gaming so don't get it if that's what your looking for. But this would be a pretty good work mousepad.
Overall, its just a mouse pad. Terms Ergonomics and such really dont apply to a thin pad. The grip on the bottom of the pad is fine, it doesnt slide on the desk at all. The fatal flaw however, is that the top fabric is very grippy itself. It is noticeably harder to push around a "Home Essentials Direct basics" mouse on than any other mouse pad I own. I use this for work, and its frustrating how much slower I have to control my movements to precisely select something as I push the cursor around. With other pads the mouse glides easily, not so with this thing. This pad would be TERRIBLE for gaming. I own several gaming rigs and flick shots, or quick selecting things just wont happen with this pad. Wasted money for me, look elsewhere.
The value of this mouse pad is high. But the quality is middling at best. I've used it on a few different surfaces and I've seen some slipping on all three. I'm also seeing a little bit of lag, and my mouse also sees a tiny bit of drag. Alas none of the amazing pads I've used in the past come in 8x9--otherwise I'd pay a bit more. This will be fine for now but it's far from perfect. Still, I can't complain a ton at this price point.
This mousepad is very nice. I was thinking the surface would be plastic, but i was wrong! The cloth is very soft, and doesn't cause irritation to my wrist. Also, i can adjust it easily, it is very flexible... Edit 5/29/2019 -- HIGHLY recommend. This has been my daily driver, my buddy, my teammate for almost 3 years now. It has endured through daily use. Milk? No problem. Fruit Smoothies? No sweat. Noodle Soup? Easy. All you need is a damp cloth and some elbow grease; press down hard on the mousepad and "scrape" the water off with the cloth. This mousepad has been scratched multiple times out of frustration, especially considering the fact that I am a programmer and gamer. Still, it's stayed black, all those scratches (and tears) easily just disappear after a day. ... MoreThis mousepad is very nice. I was thinking the surface would be plastic, but i was wrong! This mousepad has been scratched multiple times out of frustration, especially considering the fact that I am a programmer and gamer. Still, it's stayed black, all those scratches (and tears) easily just disappear after a day. Still just as soft as new. This mousepad is the absolute BEST you can get for the price. You will NOT regret it, and it will stay with you for YEARS. Edit 03/21/2021 -- Still going strong. I've taken care of it each year with some gentle cleaning using a wet-vac, water, and some laundry detergent. It's started to curl slightly at the edges and a few strands of the cloth have frayed loose and were cut off by me. However, it is still as grippy and soft as it's ever been. I even bought another one for a family member. I can't believe this mousepad has survived through almost a quarter of my life at this point.... previous mousepads I have used have peeled apart or got stiff and less grippy. This product has extremely high longevity for its trivial price of four bucks, and my point still stands that this is the best mousepad you can buy on this website. Period.
