Just attached this fully adjustable monitor arm on my desk to hold a monitor in portrait orientation. It works as described and I'm happy with how it turned out. It is very solidly made, with a huge bracket to hold the monitor in clamp mode, and all the parts necessary to mount the pole. Fellowes arm makes it completely stable, with no sag or slide, while still allowing me to freely position it. Now I can easily move the monitor to compensate for changes in sitting position, so I get much less eye-strain compared with trying to peer at a fixed monitor parked at the wrong distance. I wanted to mount my monitor at a more comfortable level to reduce neck strain and combat my tendency to hunch over while at my desk. This promised a quick install using a clamp which was the way I thought seemed smartest. Specs say it can hold up to 17.6 pounds and 32”, but my monitor was a bit smaller than that. Installation was easy and everything felt very secure and sturdy. I much appreciate the new monitor view and would recommend this to anyone wanting to alleviate neck strain and back compression.

This does have an option for this type of installation; however it uses a flat metal plate over the grommet hole and there are only two very small holes in the plate to feed cords and cables through. This was not going to work for me, so I adapted and used the clamp installation through the grommet hole. You will need a hole 3” across in order to do this plus some small disassembly of the clamp piece with a screwdriver. There is a plastic cover with the Fellowes logo that slides over the pole and covers the metal base/clamp area, but it is unattractive and takes away usable surface space right under the monitor, so I decided ... MoreOverall this is a good monitor arm! This monitor arm was easy to assemble. It cost me 5 minutes to set up everything. It came with 2 different base to fit any type of desk. My 27 inch BENQ monitor fit perfectly, nice and snug in the mounting holes. It's definitely worth giving a shot!
This monitor arm has been such a great addition to my office setup. As an accountant, I use two monitors on the larger side. When I have a client in my office, I’m constantly moving one screen around to show them what’s happening. This arm makes it so much easier! I can smoothly turn the screen whatever way I need to with ease. It was easy to attach to my monitor and desk and feels very sturdy and stable. Couldn’t be easier!
Not a lot of wobble with this stand - some stands can jiggle a lot when you touch the monitor (such as my last one) - but not with this one. Very solidly built. The monitor can rotate easily, portrait to landscape, but with a 30” monitor that I have, the table got in the way. Also, this type of stand doesn’t have an easy up and down adjustment- in other words, I can move it vertically without loosening the grip with a tool, and then re-tightening. It does swing left to right really well.All and all, this is a great stand - very solid- just as long as you want to keep it at the same height.
I have a small area in my house for our computer area, so to make the most out of my area and get the most desk space I wanted to raise my monitor off the desk and have it eye level. I like that I can attach this to the back of my desk and adjust it to tightly close around the desk, by twisting the bottom knob and not have to worry about the monitor getting knocked down. My monitor is 32 inches, and it was easy to install on the reflex arm, and it gives me the space to put my keyboard and mouse underneath the monitor. I can move the monitor to better adjust to how I am sitting or if I need a better view or space while working on my desk. The bar itself is sturdy and well built, it holds the weight of my monitor and shows no signs of giving up anytime soon. So this reflex single monitor arm is a really convenient thing to have. Especially since covid forced me to work from home. I feel as though I can efficiently work with a good flow with being able to have the extra monitor arm. I do however feel like it might just fall over at some point which is why it is only 4 stars.
This computer monitor arm by Fellowes is of high quality and super durable. I was surprised at how heavy the box was when it arrived, but I soon discovered why. It was relatively easy to attach to the back of my computer monitor and allows for flexible positioning of my monitor screen which makes for more comfortable use while I am working on my computer!
I set this monitor arm up for my 34 inch ultrawide monitor and it is working really well. It has cleared up a ton of room on my desk. The set up was simple. I was able to complete it without a 2nd person. The arm seems very sturdy. It has a holder for the tools you might need down the road for adjustments so you don't lose them. I'm really happy with this monitor arm so far.
