This is a premium instrument. It is quite different from my 2009 USA Strat. The body contours are improved and the heel joint with the increase heel access is quite noticeable. The neck contour is much thinner than any Strat I've played before. Super playable with much more fretboard edge rounding. The pickups are fantastic. The S-1 switch coil taps without a drop in volume. I got the natural wood finish and the HSS version. The S-1 functions differently on the SSS models. It came setup nicely and after stretching the strings for a few minutes, it stays in tune well. The case included is impressive. Could handle even airline abuse! Fit and finish are all custom shop level good. The only negative I have is personal as I don't really like the mechanics of the S-1 ... MoreThis is a premium instrument.
