Made in Japan Junior Collection Stratocaster is a guitar that adopts a 24-inch scale while wearing the looks of the conventional Fender, and is one of the new choices for entry players who are starting musical instruments and young people. By adopting a 24-inch scale that is shorter than usual, it is easy to hold the chord and reduces the burden on the fingers when pressing the strings, and the compact body and new body scaled down to about 94%. The cavity design makes it lighter and provides higher playability. The newly designed Junior Collection Modified Single Coil Stratocaster pickups feature a bright Fender Stratocaster tone. A vintage type tuner and a two-point support tremolo bridge with a vintage style saddle ensure tuning stability.

I love Strats but have really tiny hands & consequently find the 25.5 scale length a bit hard work, especially down at the cowboy chord area. This is the perfect answer, even the body is scaled down, so as to keep its proportions. The build quality is absolutely sublime, I know, I own 4 CS Strats. The sound quality of the pickups took me by surprise too, superb! vintage/hot IMO (Alnico 5/6K). Shipping to UK went very smoothly, thanks to a great seller.
