Wanted to try coiled lead when giging, this one seems well made and better value for money than the Jimi Hendrix voodoo child also for sale. You just pay for Jimi's name. RIP. Only criticism l have is the colour "dapne blue", which was my best pick of the range available on line at the time. I play a 68 Olympic White strat , so white or black would have been better.

Just make sure you know what you're getting with this cable – the coiling makes it noticeably heavier than your standard guitar cable, but not excessively so. I personally love it.

This was exactly what I was looking for - it's nice having it contract back vs having to roll up a straight cable. The high end frequency loss is about what you'd expect from a 30' cable, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Great surf green color and is heavy, but not overly heavy - should last a good long time.
I hesitated spending the money on a coiled cable because I have plenty of quality straight cables but they were always getting twisted. GC was running a sale where if you bought 4 things you got a discount so I added this cable to my order. So glad I did, The quality is great, it doesn't get twisted, and it looks awesome. I'm now using all coiled cables from guitar to pedal board and using the straight cables from the PB to the amp.
Never given me any problems. Work great. Bought a second one I liked it so much.
This cable is definitely a major improvement over the coil cables Fender put out 6 or 7 years ago. The cable itself is of much higher quality and has no noise to speak of. Plugs are also rock solid and extremely well made. Cable flexes nicely and has strain reliefs via a strong heat shrink tubing.... all in all, it's awesome! And the price point is very affordable for pretty much anyone. You made a real good here FENDER!!!!
Nice cable in Daphne Blue, matches my new Telecaster !!!Curly cable is a tad on the heavy side compared with straight cables.
I really like this cable a lot. I was very hesitant to purchase it but then it dropped in price and I went for it. I'm glad I did. Although some reviewers said it was heavy and "too short". Its been a non issue for me. I feel the slight weight of it but I find that helpful as I can tell where it is subconsciously and dont have to worry about stepping or tripping on (and honestly it isn't THAT heavy). As far as being to short, because of the coiled-ness I guess, it's again not been an issue. I've never had it stretched out all the way and the distance I have gone I haven't noticed a resistance. Id say if you were like me and you wondered if you should get it, GET IT. Now I will say I like it for its history and uniqueness and to me thats the fun part of this cable. ... But its also a great cable!!!!
It is a well made cable and high quality. But the drawback is that it is very heavy for a cable and will hang in the air.
