A stylish (in my opinion) apparently sturdy cable. It is quite heavy, which is not surprising given the construction described on its packaging, and seems of good quality. I am writing this only four days after purchase, so I cannot usefully comment on its fault-free life expectancy and perhaps should have reduced the stars awarded for that reason. Despite being Fender branded, as with so many products the packaging indicates that manufacture was in PRC which might be relevant to other ourchasers.

Amazed actually

I got this to go to my amp from my effects. (I’m putting together:y first pedal board aged 51). I plugged it in absolutely fine no issue. What happened next was significant. At the guitar end I was using a perfectly good cable that I had no complaints with. I had a previously purchased 20 foot version of this lead. A bit long so still unused I swapped them over. Honestly. I still haven’t added a compressor sustainer to my effects but the improvement was similar to what I expected from compressor sustainer. To the extent I’m questioning whether I need one. Sound was clear , full, warm and rich I’d say. Amazed.

CONSTANTLY RELIABLE

I have purchased most of the expensive and inexpensive cables on the market. From boutique to unknowns, what I have found is that the Fender cables are always reliable, working year after year without failure. Fender cables might not be made of New Age Space Materials, but they always work and deliver.

I have an instrument cable .. . for YOU!

I got the 15' black tweed version. Sometimes I just want to plug the guitar directly into the amp, bypass all the effect pedals, etc. patched in from the floor. 10' is too short for this application, you can't really walk away from the amp very far. 18' and now you got too much cable under your feet.I have a variety of instrument cables, braided and unbraided. I prefer the braided - they don't kink as bad, they look better, and my cats don't chew on them as much as the unbraided cables! YEOW !I have used Fender instrument cables now for years and have been able to totally rely on them. The gold connectors assure that the signal is solid and NOISE FREE. No crackles and pops with these guys.

Incredible Cable

This is an amazing cable. It is very thick and has great quality. It is also a great long length which makes it a joy to play live with. This is definitely one of the best cables that I have ever used. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about there playing and needs a reliable and good looking cable to play shows with. #sweepstakes

More than happy…

Was hesitant at first to go for a more premium cable. And spend the extra. But decided it wasn’t worth the trade off and plumped for the Deluxe.This cable is a great length firstly and is very manageable to store-away with it’s sewn on velcro strap. The tweed finish will be hard wearing and kind on anything it rubs against, which is always important. It does what it says on the tin. Plugs and plays. No crackles or pops and just delivers 100% of the time.Premium cables are absolutely worth-it in my opinion and this one won’t disappoint. Making any set-up sound better and play easier!

Solid Looking Cable

Needed a practice cable for my small living room. Previous angled cables fed through threaded connector backs that wore down the solder joint between the connector and braided ground. The Fender cable has a much better strain relief design that should help protect the solder joint.

Besides looking good, this sturdy cable delivers great sound from my guitar to my Focusrite. Good sound in equals good sound out, and while this cable won't magically make me a better guitar player, it will deliver what I play cleanly and accurately. Got it on sale, but I highly recommend, even at regular price.

Very good cable. Well worth the price.

Got this cable during a sale. Was very surprised with the sound quality and overall build. Thicker gage than I expected and thicker than most other cables which is good. Seems heavy-duty. Ordered 3 more. Would definitely have paid more for them had I known how good these would be. I play 150+ shows a year. Will see how they hold up in the long run but for now I am very pleased with them.
