Fenix TK35UE V2.0 5000 Lumen Dual Mode Flashlight

This thing is a beast! It cranks out a crazy amount of light, and the switch for changing output modes and locking the button is intuitive and well designed. The best feature of all, though, has to be the strobe function. I recently reviewed the PD36TAC light and - while that light is near perfect - it has what I consider to be a fault in that the strobe function has a delayed activation of .8 seconds, whereas the PD35TAC could be double tapped to engage the strobe (only in the right mode; the PD36TAC is better than the PD35TAC in almost every other way in my opinion). Other than that, the only downside is that it does not come with batteries, meaning there is additional cost to getting this light working. Other than that, when I'm adventuring on my motorcycle or on a trip, you can bet this beast will be on hand if I need it. Top shelf light!

The flashlight itself is awesome! I like the design and functionality. Battery life is good and it’s very bright. However my only complaint is the holster for it. I use it for law enforcement and it’s insanely hard to put back in quickly and transition to another tool. Most times if I have to do it quick I put it in a pocket because the holster is absolutely useless. Why they don’t have a kydex holster for this is beyond my understanding. I don’t understand why you would design such a nice flashlight and equip it with a .50 cent holster. I would happily pay extra for a holster that worked. For law enforcement I’d recommend MOD light unfortunately just based on the holsters for there flashlights.
