- shade 02 Butta biscuit 🤠Sadly not one of my absolute faves - which is rare for Fenty complexion products as I love pretty much everything else I've tried from them. It's also the most expensive cream bronzer I own for the amount of product you get (£29 RRP and you only get a measly 6.23g of product). My main complaint is the bronzer shade. Butta biscuit (02) is described as light with neutral undertone - however I find it to pull closer to olive. Unfortunately this doesn't suit my cool undertone at all and I don't find it especially flattering. However if you have a more yellow leaning or specifically olive undertone then this would probably look beautiful on you! I also don't love the packaging. Its a mirrored compact which leaves finger prints everywhere and it has the same opening clasp as the Fenty cream blush, which I find slightly awkward to open as there isn't a lip or edge to grasp onto. The bronzer compact is much larger in size than the blushes and it also has a mirror in the lid. The bronzer pan is very shallow so it is very easy to access with a brush or sponge. The bronzer formula is more on the emollient side and it does apply to the skin beautifully. It has a medium-pigmentation so it's easy to build up and doesn't become too pigmented too quickly or tricky to work with. It applies nicely under and over powder and lasts well on the skin. Overall 2ï¸ âƒ£/5ï¸ âƒ£ - the formula is nice but nothing special - but I think it would be really beginner friendly. However it's very expensive for the small amount of product you get, so I definitely don't think it's worth it from that perspective. And I also think this shade is probably better suited if you have a warmer undertone ğŸ¤

I am very fair skin tone and I have the shade Am er and Butta Biscuit. For Amber, I give four stars and Butta Biscuit five stars. I like the formula a lot. It’s very lightweight and often when my makeup has melted off, this is the last product standing. It took me a while to figure out the application. With cream products I usually use my fingertips but it’s hard to get a good diffused contour with my fingertips. A brush didn’t move the product around as well as I hoped. Dabbing the beautyblender directly into the product, while not the cleanest, works very beautifully. Instant contour or bronze. Butta Biscuit, however, is a pale person’s bronzer dreams come true. Not too orange, not too red, perfect. The formula feels creamier too but wear time is still amazing. Butta Biscuit had been my cream bronzer adoration for a few months now and I have one seriously huge makeup addiction so a few months is impressive.

I bought this bronzer on sale after wanting it for a long time. I chose the shade Butta Biscuit for my pale skin / blond hair as reviews said it was a good match for this shade. Packaging is beautiful but unnecessary and quite a heavy casing. I found it difficult to open - I’d to dig my nail under the clip to release the lid. The consistency is creamy and smooth and it’s easy to apply. The shade is a muddy brown - much darker in the pan than I expected but it goes on lighter on the skin. It’s cool toned/grey so if you’re looking for something warm/golden, this isn’t it. I’ve a cream bronzer by Milk Makeup and gel by Iconic London and I’d say comparing Fenty with these, I prefer both the others. [Positive]+ nice formula: creamy and easy to spread, does not require any setting once it dries.+ amazing color for olive skin, not orange at all. Contains just enough green to blend into your skin tone-wise and add a natural-looking warmth. thebalm's Bahama Mama bronzer is often touted as a great bronzer for olive skin, but that one pulls pinky orange on me. As a cool olive, Teddy is infinitely better. See first photo for comparison.+ versatile. (Thank you to blogger Coquettenoelle for the price comparison)[Neutral]~ takes some warming up to work at its best. I recommend putting it in your bra/binder/pants/somewhere enclosed against your body heat while you do other makeup to warm it up, and/or applying it first to the thumb part of your palm and then to the face.[Overall]I would buy it again since 1) I don't use bronzer too often to run out of a produce at a rate that would make its high dollar per gram price point unreasonable, and 2) the tone is just perfect for olive skin.First pic: from top - Fenty Teddy bronzer, thebalm Bahama Mama, Makeup Revolution Bronze and Glow bronzer, Physician's Formula Butter Latte bronzer. I am very impressed with this contour cream! I had been searching for a cool-toned contour since my all-time favorite one by Mac was discontinued. I tried several different contour products- powders and creams alike, but nothing seemed to be what I was looking for. I came across Amber, decided to try her out and I am super happy with the results. I was nervous before purchasing that this shade would be too light due to other lighter skinned folks saying not a lot of pigment showed up on them, but I have had great pigmentation results and hallelujah it is not warm-toned, but a true cool contour shade. Everyone's skin tone is unique, but for me this has been an amazing contour with nice pigmentation and a smooth, easy to apply formula. Everyone's skin tone is unique, but for me this has been an amazing contour with nice pigmentation and a smooth, easy to apply formula. I usually don't care about packaging unless it's really bad, but I actually think this packaging is worth mentioning because it is very lightweight and easy to use. This product is a yes for me sis.For reference: I have neutral-warm fair/light skin tone and I use this contour cream with liquid foundation and setting powder. So far, no other product I use has interfered with final color/pigmentation.
I was so impressed with Fenty's Contour Stick in Amber that I was sure I would love this product just as much. The colour is gorgeous and works for my fair skin with cool neutral undertones. However, the product is difficult to blend and can give a "muddy" appearance. The biggest flaw for me was it broke me out. At first I thought it could have been my base foundation, but after a few uses I have determined it is the cream bronzer. Very disappointed as I have large breakouts on the area the product was used and it is more of a splurge bronzer in terms of price point. The contour stick imo performs better after being warmed up on the back of the hand.
It’s best cream bronzer I have ever used, and I don’t use other cream bronzers anymore after trying this. It’s so worth the money. I tell you why: It has so many shades, so I think everyone will find their perfect shade. I bought the shade Butta Biscuit and It works so well for my fair skin. It’s pigmented, but it’s so creamy so it blends like a dream, and it doesn’t go patchy. It looks pretty natural, and gives me the most amazing glow. Packaging is also very beautiful. I have this, and Fenty’s Cream blush, and I love both. I can’t wait to try more Fenty products I’m so Impressed!
For reference I'm an N4 to N5 in MAC face and body most of the year, and shade "Teddy" is pretty fantastic for me. Warm without being at all orange. It has a super buildable coverage that is beyond easy to work with. Like...to the point I think you could be extremely fair and with the right brush and a light hand...find a way for the deepest shade to be flattering. Kinda magical like that.I apply it with a densely packed foundation brush. It (teddy) definitely does not have any cool undertones, but it's sheer enough that with a deft hand, it can also work as a contour. It's quite emollient without feeling greasy. I've applied it to a bare face, over foundation, and even topped it up over (light) powder towards the end of the day. It plays well with all.It does dry down significantly, though not to a powder finish. I am actually a fan of this, as I prefer a natural to dewy finish on my whole face (I only set my t-zone and under eyes). The only ding I can find is there are some sort of tiny fibers in the pan. I suppose they *could* be coming from my brush...but they're far finer and shorter than it's hairs. I've also heard a couple of YouTube folks mention this. I've had these present with other (high end) panned cream and cream to powder products. While I'm not doing cartwheels over it, I'm also not returning it because I've found that when it's present in one unit, it's present in all.Overall fantastic product. Will definitely purchase again.
I ended up getting this after another bronzer flopped for me. I went with Macchiato, but wanted Teddy and my local store didn’t have it in stock. While Teddy suits my warm olive undertones better, as I suspected it would — at least I got to swatch the tester — Macchiato is really beautiful, too. I’m happy to use it until I need to repurchase! I use my fingers and less than I think I need. With a light hand, it’s subtle and enhancing, very “no-makeup.” (Not matte, but not satin and certainly not shimmery.) I also don’t break out after using it, and it hasn’t transferred much (if at all) to my masks. Overall, I love it and think it’s a good value.
First of all, this is a beautiful product. Just because it didn't work for my skin type doesn't mean it won't work for others. I bought this product in the shade butta biscuit. It is smooth and creamy and extremely blend-able. However upon using it a few times I realized I had started to get breakouts. It took me a minute to realize that it was from this product. Keep in mind I have oily and blemish prone skin, however because I am an esthetician and have my skincare routine taylored to me, I rarely get breakouts. But I was noticing breakouts along my temples, jawline and cheeks where I hardly ever breakout. It was happening everywhere I placed this product. So unfortunately it's not for me :(
