I looked into Fenty Beauty for a foundation because it manufactures foundations in warm yellow undertone that fits my light medium shade. Many other brands miss the mark on either the tone or the shade. Fenty is highly inclusive.After using this foundation, I fell head over heels for it! I find that the gel formula is very kind on dry, dehydrated or combination skin (my skin went through some changes). I also like its buildable coverage. On good days, I use one pump of it. On days that I need more help, I use two pumps. I also love the packaging as a whole - pump bottle with cap, frosted glass, and slim.My bottle lasted way beyond the expiry stated; the product only separated in the bottle after three years.Pro Filtr Soft Matte Longwear is worth the money.

This foundation has a few colour options with green undertones. Shade 225 is the closest I've gotten to finding my true shade but it's a bit too light and the shade up with green undertones is too dark. It's not the end of the world though as the foundation darkens a noticeable amount over the course 2-3 hours.My main issue with this foundation is how absolutely terrible it is at staying on. It 's one of those creamy formulas that look incredible for the first 30 minutes and then starts to melt and look god awful until the coverage is non existent and your face is left feeling and looking like a greasy mess. It transfers a lot throughout the day also, so be careful when you eat and drink. I wouldn't buy this again.
I didn't expect to like this foundation so much. I hace rosacea and acne that most foundations worsen. I also have a bad case of very oily T-zone but peeling dry skin elsewhere. No foundation was good for both situations.This foundation makes my pores appear MUCH MUCH smaller and doesnt separate on my oily zones. It also doesn't cling to my dry skin patches. It's amazing. I slept on this for years cuz I didnt want to buy celebrity brands but the quality is unmatched.It holds ALL DAY (I even slept with it once and it held up okay for the next day, I didnt even look oily) It doesnt break me out and the color doesnt oxidyse. 10/10I never liked a foundation so much. It feels like I am wearing a high quality primer under but there's truly no need for that.
I hadn’t tried this foundation since it first launched in 2017-2018. Previously it didn’t work for me because it oxidized badly. I ended up trying it out again after they came out with some new shades, I got shade 125 and it is perfection. I do have decent skin, with a tendency to lean dry. I make sure to exfoliate (dr gross peel pads) and I apply a THICC moisturizer (Skinfix) before putting this foundation on. I don’t even use a primer and it looks so airbrushed and perfect. I picked up the new Sephora pro brush #60 for this… I didn’t think it could get any better but it did! Full coverage mattes work best for people who have a solid skincare regimen. “Cakey-ness” is a result of lacking exfoliation and/or using the wrong type of moisturizer.
