FiiO DM15 AKM Portable Bluetooth CD Player Sliver

The FiiO DM15 AKM combines classic CD enjoyment with the latest audio technology, offering an impressive overall package in terms of sound and functionality. At its core are two AKM AK4493S DACs with a powerful output of up to 1100 mW + 1100 mW. These chips are based on VELVET SOUND technology and are characterized by low distortion and a wide dynamic range. They deliver a warm, natural, and crystal-clear sound with a broad, realistic soundstage – a truly authentic and multifaceted audio experience. The DM15 AKM functions as a CD player with high-quality mechanics, a premium USB DAC, and even as a Bluetooth transmitter, allowing music to be wirelessly transmitted to headphones or speakers. The player also supports ripping CD titles to an external USB storage device during playback, enabling the music to be used elsewhere. Additionally, it features unbalanced 3.5 mm and balanced 4.4 mm headphone outputs, as well as coaxial, optical, and line outputs. The headphone amplification offers impressive performance: unbalanced up to 295 mW + 295 mW and balanced up to 1100 mW + 1100 mW, making it capable of driving even demanding over-ear headphones with ease. This power is complemented by extensive sound control: three bass levels and eight pre-programmed EQ presets allow for individual adjustment to music styles and headphones. The aluminum housing features a sturdy, portable format, a display, buttons, and a rotary knob. A remote control is included in the package. It can be used both as a mobile and stationary device, including a desktop mode for mains operation without draining the battery. The DM15 AKM is aimed at CD enthusiasts who value the highest sound fidelity, flexible connection and playback options, and strong performance for headphones and external audio chains.
