This product leaves a terrible soap taste on everything. I tried running the dishwasher again with just water, but everything still tastes and smells like soap. I had to throw away all my granddaughter's baby bottles and nipples that I went through the dishwasher with the Finish Tabs because no matter how much I wash them, the scent and taste is permanent. So gross. I will never purchase this product again. And I have a huge Costco sized box that I am not going to use. What a waste.

Our dishwasher is 22 years old & not getting our dishes as clean as it used to - I thought it was just tired. I tried Finish Quantum because it was on sale and the detergent I normally use was out of stock. Because there are only two of us, we usually wash dishes about 3 times a week. We rinse them off before placing them in the dishwasher. I always use the hottest water and usually use the pot scrubber cycle. Also, we let them air dry. I rarely give reviews for products but everything came out so clean and shiny (dishes, flatware, bowls) I felt I should share this experience. I was especially impressed with my glasses - no film or spotting. It's been a long time since I was this happy with a new product. I guess we'll keep the dishwasher a little longer. 😊

I’ve just started using this about 2 months ago to see how it compared to the liquid I’ve always used. I love the fact that everything is contained in one pod. The first few times I used it I noticed that the pod didn’t completely disintegrate in the compartment, but once I put the pods in the dispenser with the flat/level side facing up that issue was resolved. Mt dishes come out clean and glasses are spot free and sparkling. Every now and then I might have a little food that was not washed off, however I feel that this happens when there’s a large load and the dishes have not been given the room they need to get everything off. Bottom line, this is my go to for my dishwasher now!

Sharing my experience. Been using Cascade for many years. Recently "upgraded" to the Platinum PLUS. Then started having to rewash and hand wash plastics, storage containers, kitchen utensils, etc of greasy residue EVERY cleaning. Glass and metal comes out fine. So out of discouragement, I tried FINISH POWER (only other national brand at my grocery store). Have yet to rewash an item!!!! Nothing has changed in our food residue or machine to corrupt these results. Certainly not scientific, but I'm not reWashing dishes since. THAT'S ENOUGH FOR ME.
We have hard water that will leave wet dog stenches on porcelain and glass surfaces you wash it on. The cheaper detergents were working to get our dishes clean, but they did a horible job of combating these disgusting wet dog smells.We used to use finish gel, and I remembered it smelled very good, so I decided to try quantum pods, and it worked! Dishes with wet dog smells now instead had a sweet vinager smell on them, and do not reek of dog when you put food or liquid in or on them anymore! If your struggling to get rid of stentches in your dishwasher related to your water, try these, they might work!

Yuck! We tried these by accident (husband thought he was buying the usual but bought this by accident). Boy what an unfortunate difference from classic Finish. Such HEAVY perfume. The whole house reeked! Worst of all, it left a terrible soap taste on everything. I had to rewash everything and everything STILL tastes like soap. It also leeches into any plastic or rubber materials in dishwasher so it'll smell and make your food taste like it if stored in it. All plastic has this soaps odor and wont come out. The plastic also doesn't dissolve well. My dishwasher gets hot water and even run partially empty the plastic can still be found. Terrible and smells. Now everything smells. Bring back the old pods. The old blue ones with red dot and no liquid worked more and left less of a scent but barely any stores have them anymore. Have used this brand all my life but this upgrade sucks. These tabs are excellent. But then again I am satisfied with all brands I've used. The problem I've discovered with any tab leaving residue and gunk, not dissolving and etc is the dishwasher cycle used. These new dishwashers with cycles that run for several hours use minimal water. Blame government regulations for requiring manufacturers to reduce water consumption. These long running cycles do not provide enough water. They don't provide enough water to dissolve and rinse properly. I always use the QUICK one hour cycle and there are no problems. Dishes are always clean and no residue. The quick cycle uses 5 gallons of water, runs one hour, and my dishes are clean. I've been using this product forever! But recently, the fragrance has changed and the dishes come out smelling awful. It's perfumey smelling. And the food picks up the smell. It's awful! I've even had to throw out a couple of things from which I could not get the smell to disappear. Even my husband can smell it, and that takes a lot. I usually get it from Costco, so I will check with them. But I cannot use it anymore. It will get my money back from them. Very disappointing. I hope that you will change it back, as I liked it prior to this change.
