After extensive research we purchased this thinking it was compatible with our Fisher and Paykel washing machine and dryer.However upon installation we realized it wasn't, and required time consuming modifications to make it fit and accommodate the dryer.Also, its basically a cheap plastic device, for $129 it's a complete waste of money.

Let's be honest you're buying this because it's they one that fits your appliances. But being critical:-I would've designed it not to require permanently drilling into the washer-You need to fasten the dryer from the rear, so you need to assemble the stack away from the wall then push it into place which is a bit difficult, again if have designed it differently-the drawer only extends about 30cm to just enough to balance a basket but I'd have liked larger as I mainly use it as a work area for spraying stain remover etc

I've owned a my fisher & paykel washer and dryer combo unit for over 2 years now and recently moved into a house that requires me to stack the appliances. The stacking unit was simple to install... Line up the stacking unit on your washing machine, drill pilot holes as per the instructions provided and screw down the stacking unit into the washing machine. Then simply lift the dryer onto the stacking unit aligning the holes with the feet. Simple!

Kit looks good and seems to work well. Loses a star because you have to drill into the top of your brand new washing machine for the install which seems so wrong... Otherwise shipping was fast, good service.
Very happy with the stacking kit. Easy to assemble and is working great. The slide out tray comes in very handy. Would definitely recommend 👌
Works as intended. Makes for a very safe, secure and professional setup. Easy to install - just need a hand with the lifting - otherwise fantastic. Love the way the machines match each other in size!
The stacker unit was pretty easy to fit. Somewhat surprising that the F&P washing machine doesnt have pre-drilled holes and you have to position the stacker correctly and then use the self-tapping screws to screw it to the top of the washer. But it was quick and easy, the stacker has a really handy pull-out shelf. The washer and dryer are so stable and quiet stacked using this unit. Harvey Norman delivery was really prompt.
You don't need the screws for the back of the dryer, just take the two out of the unit that are already there and screw them in again. Little difficult to fit these screws on the back too (we ended up using a short-stubby screwdriver and tipping the unit forward slightly - either that or mount the dryer BEFORE pushing the washer back into its position against the wall).
Works as required. Easy to install but need to be confident drilling into your washing machine! As most stacking kits are, it is on the pricey side but for a small laundry it works well and the slide out section can be handy.
Designed to fit between my Fisher Water & Dryer, which it does quite well. However instructions ask you to SCREW the unit into the top of my lovely new Washer !! Very reluctant to do that [ what's below the surface of the Washer ??]. So simply moved into position which seemed quite stable. Did though screw dryer unit onto the kit with my own longer screws than those provided. Seem to work as stable. Be braver than me if so inclined. Otherwise fine. PS It does include built it slide out tray if needed....
