Not happy with my purchase. I shouldve read more reviews before purchasing. Clothes get stuck under and around agitator flippers. Other issue is lint collector doesnt collect lint. When you remove clothes from machine there is lint all in the machine drum.

Love this top load washer. I had my previous one (not a F & P) for many years and it was on its last legs. This one is a little larger than my old one but it super quiet! Love all the different wash settings, spin speed settings etc. Super easy to use! I bought this over the phone from Good Guys Hoppers Crossing (George). No hassle...answered all my questions. Delivery was excellent...on time! No hesitation in shopping with this store...always great service!

This is to replace my old F & P machine 7.5kg top of the line washer that I bought in 2003. That had the serviceman to it once in its 18 years. I hope this new F & P is as good. They do make unusual noises compared with other washing machines, but it is all part of its system. It thumps a bit when starting the wash to find out how heavy the wash is and the correct amount of water to add. I use it on Regular cycle and auto everything. I like the fact it uses a high spin 1000rpm, and the clothes come out almost dry. And very clean and bright looking compared with my old washer that died. The only problem is it occasionally can't balance a big load of just towels. So I have to manually pull them around. My old machine died on a Saturday. Went to Good Guys Nuna on Sunday, and they delivered it on the Monday !! And set it up ready to go. Amazing service.

Very good washer but has one error. The agitator seems to be too big for the barrel. This agitator fits all the F&P top loaders, and in every other machine it would be ok. But the clearance between the end of the agitator fin and the side of the barrel is only anout 30mm which is too small to allow clothes to float around in the water. There is a tendancy for the wash to be rather too vigourous when doing a small load. My washer actually tore a few items, and the technician correctly diagnosed the agitator had rough edges along the fins, and so he sanded all the edges of a new agitator which he fitted. He gave me the old agitator, so I cut the ends of the fins off by barely 20mm, and now the washer is xlnt on any cycle and does not tear clothes. I've had this model for probably over 150 washes and it certainly has many benefits. * Very easy to use - even for me, the 'Mr Mum' of the house ;-0 I just press a couple of buttons and away it goes. Buttons are long-wearing too, I was worried about them when I bought an electronic device but they haven't faded or broken yet. * It probably should go without saying but let me say - it washes clothes well. Not me if I can help it!) Like all good superheroes though (think Superman & Cryptonite) there is one sad flaw to this, however, that just drives me absolutely crazy. My Mother In Law has the same model with the same problem too. If you push clothes down in the water, especially if it's full of water, it will start draining everything and you have to start over again. Unfortunately too it might even not let you start over again unless you walk away, drink a coffee (or bourbon depending on the time of day) and come back again. It seems to think that it's overloading. I've tried all sorts of 'fixes' I've seen online but nothing has had long-lasting impact. This only happens once in every maybe 10 washes, but it sure is frustrating and time-consuming. Another minor issue is the plastic around it isn't the strongest, in a house move some of the casing cracked off, however that hasn't affected the functionality, just the way it looks. Makes it look like I work hard at washing which could even be seen as a positive I guess :-)
Extremely easy to use, quiet, and handles a good sized washing load. I bought this brand because the last one I had was an F & P which was a total workhorse for 14 years, so I have faith in the brand. Also the Good Guys were very prompt with the delivery, only 3 days from ordering the machine and it was up and running. Very happy.
Not nearly as good as my old F & P Machine which I had for probably ten years. To get out of Soak you have to push THREE times, whereas with my old machine, your just pushed FORWARD - one press, when on the soak cycle. . I do not like the feint words on the different controls. They are hard to read. With my last F & P machine, they were black and much easier to read. Now I have to put a light on to read them. I also have the old make F & P Machine in a holiday home and it is just brilliant, so I have bought three of your machines. Next time I will look at a different brand
Made sure to read all the instructions before use . Was expecting it to be noisy after reading previous reviews but it was fine . Love the fact it has a 18 hour time delay so can take advantage of solar power.. the machine is great to use especially for those who find it difficult to bend down when filling or emptying out the washing. Very pleased with my purchase
I dont have to decide if its a small or medium load the machine does it all for me. The length of the wash cycle is perfect and the wash comes our really good not to many rinkles. When just using the spin cycle I am impressed by the timing of it. I am a very happy person on the choice of this machine with help from Jackson.
Our initial purchase was for another brand of machine, but it had a side drain hose, not a rear hose so didn't fit into the space in our laundry. No problem arranging for the machine to be picked up and the F&P machine to be installed - hassle-free return within less than 48 hours; The F&P machine replaces what we already had, which had seen us through nearly 20 years of washing - should have stuck with what we knew in the first place!
