Definitely not as happy as I would have hoped. First machine delivered was broken and then we received the replacement in a very timely fashion. Was very happy with Appliances Online customer service. Even though new machine has been levelled it easily becomes off balance and beeps constantly until you sort it out. Machine took ages to settle in without beeping for excess suds, I followed instructions and quantities to the letter, including the type of washing liquid but it still beeped claiming suds. Luckily the machine finally settled down after a couple of weeks as I was ready to send it back! This would have to be the worse washing machine I have ever bought. Having had an F & P washing machine for over 20 years, I chose to go with a similar machine that had good ratings. It washes very well, but there are issues with the program choices. I phoned the Help line and was told I had to wait over a month to get someone to look at the machine. It would cost me despite only having had the machine for ONE WEEK. I am still trialling how to get the programs to work as no other help was offered. Not happy.

I've had it only 8 months, i previously had a Fisher and Paykel that lasted 19 years. Hoping this one will too?! I used to like to know where it was up to in a cycle but this new one doesn't show/tell you that. I also have to use the heavy soiled option just to get our clothes clean and I always use the least eco friendly option so there is plenty of water to wash the clothes. You must wash the sheets or towels on the sheets/towels setting or it just doesn't wash them properly. I love that it will fit doona's and large bulky items. The size is great, I'm just not convinced about how clean the clothes are compared to the last machine. For the price, I am a little disappointed with the wash quality. It's hard to know until you buy.

Bought to replace old (over 15 yrs service) Fisher & Paykel washing machine, still in working order, only plastic dashboard cracked of old age. The machine does not do that it claims to do. Constantly going out of Balance. The clothes become tangled and knotted, trapping the dirt. There is not enough water for rinsing, I end up doing another rinse cycle, so much for saving water!!!
I have owned Fisher & Paykel washing machines for 25 years and always an awesome machine. The 10kg Cleansmart is the best I have owned. Great for doing all the sheets, quilt covers in one go. Great for washing mattress protector and king size quilt. Great for my work business shirts on the Easy Iron cycle. No tangles, minimal creasing. Also I learnt something I never knew. When placing sheets & quilt covers in machine you place as parcels around agitator. do not snake them around the agitator as they will tangle. When placed as parcels as per handbook instructions, no tangling. Love this machine.
Right in the middle of a self induced isolation, yes, actually before we HAD to, our faithful washing machine did a final spin.,.or not actually it died mid wash! Very stressed I did some research including subscribing to Choice and this was the best top loader for me. My son recommended applianceonline and I cannot speak highly enough of their service....yes you were spot on son! We normally run an airbnb downstairs in our home on the coast so needed a machine capable of doing a big sheet wash and this machine does so with ease!. It’s very quiet, washes well and the washing comes out much drier than I expected. I highly recommend this machine for families and highly recommend purchasing it from appliancesonline.com.au.

As it turned out, the loyalty voucher only lasted for 12 months and the old machine purchased in 1993 would not die. So much for the $50 rebate. This machine was recommended by Choice, so we went with the recommendation and our outstanding experience over 23 years with a previous large F & P top loader. We did not bargain on the machine being wider (too wide for the laundry door, without it being removed) than the old model. Check your dimensions to ensure your new washer will fit in. Overall, we are satisfied. It is very quiet. It does tangles sheets and towels sometimes, as has been noted in other reviews (Whirlpool) but we are learning to deal with ... The one gripe that we have, is that if you pause the cycle, the machine resets to a new time and extends the washing time left by up to 10 minutes. Otherwise, it is a great BIG machine that will wash your clothes well, sometimes with a twist.

We went from 7kg with agitator in middle to 10 kg with no agitator sticking up, yet it cleans better and clothes can't get hooked up and wrapped around the central pole. Noise....what noise, I was on the phone in the laundry and the machine was spinning like mad, yet I could hear and talk on the phone and hear everything. Even our dogs give it their paws up as they sleep in the laundry and now don't get annoyed with it spinning. Pros: Takes a massive amount of clothes, perfect for a family. Economical. Really easy to use. Quiet...... Cons: Big machine, but worth it. And this review is from me, the husband. I share the workload and this ... I've owned this machine for 5 years now. I've had to repair it three times already and had to fight F&P for that to happen under warranty but still pay for the labour. It's constantly throwing error codes. An absolute lemon of a machine.
I bought this washer after my 34 year old machine finally gave up the ghost. Family members have this model and have been happy so I ordered it. The machine was delivered promptly and was installed by the deliverers. So far I have been extremely happy. The large capacity takes anything I throw at it and doesn’t use the huge amount of water that my old one did. I have also noticed an appreciable difference in the cleanliness of my wash. Some staining that I thought was permanent disappeared after the first wash. I was amazed. Now we just need to test the longevity of my new machine. Although it may be unreasonable to expect it to last 34 years!
