Replacing an 11 year old 8kg F&P which had a tendency to smash its own agitator 3 times with a 10 kg non-agitator, has proven to be a smart choice. Plenty of room for the doona cover or 8 large bath towels or a large mixed load. This new machine handles it all. Plus it works away quietly without the off balance thumping and squealing we have been listening to for over a decade. Our fault probably as we expected too much from a small washing machine. Overall, so far, we are pleased with our purchase through Appliances on Line.

This 10kg top loader is not a bulky style, has a low line agitator and has a lot of wash functions, including tub clean, quick wash, eco and uv sanitise to name some of them. It’s super quiet too and wrings the clothes out well. The two lint filters are easy to access and clean. They work well! I researched so many top loaders and I’m very impressed with this one. We are a family of five and it is a perfect size for us. The service guys were helpful and with no fuss removed my old machine and installed this new one. I have no negatives after using the machine for over a month. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic washer. The 10kg size is incredible and you can fit double the amount to my smaller one in. Fantastic features, the sanatising is my favourite so to steralise clothes is great. Its surprisingly quiet, efficient and washes the clothes really well. The wifi function is really handy. To be able to remotely operate it is great knowing you can come home and your clothes havent been sitting in the washer too long. It hasnt got a huge agitor so you get the convenience of space like a front loader. All in all I love this washer. Ive always had F&P top load washers and never had a problem.

I am so happy with my Fisher and Paykel 10kg washing machine. It is super quiet and cleans all clothes much better than my previous machine. It has a huge drum and I’m able to clean all bedsheets in one go as opposed to 2 washes with my previous washing machine. I thought the lint filter wasn’t working but soon realised you have to detach it from the drum then flick open the cover inside the filter to reveal the lint. I’ve had the machine for a month now and highly recommend you purchase this top loader😀 I based my purchase on reviews, so I thought I would take the time to write this one.
Very happy with Appliances Online. Machine delivered next day as my old 18 year old Fisher and Paykel died mid wash. They took away old machine and installed new machine. This machine is easy to use and quiet. You can set the machine up to start remotely if you want to put a load on and have the wash finished by the time you get home from work. I like that it has filters in the side of the bowl which prevents the buildup of lint on clothing but you do need to clean them out about every 2nd wash.
Honestly I was skeptical about getting a washing machine without an agitator at first but after using my new Fisher & Paykel I am totally thrilled with it's performance. In all fairness ... I don't have very heavily soiled clothes but the result though is much cleaner than my old machine & I love the 2 big filters as they collect a lot more lint than previous machines. There is a great choice of wash cycles plus I really love the water fill level range ... the best choice around. In finishing up ... I am Very Happy To Recommend this washing machine.
Excellent machiine and its wide variety of settings.Their App works excellent via wifi and remote control is handy also lets you know when a cycle has finished.The settings per cycle are better displayed than previos models.The 30 min. setting is handy for new items or just a few.Takes bulky bedding and blankets with ease.Had a few models now and they were all excellent but this model is the best by far.Highly recommend this.

The display screen is similar, but that is the only thing, I used to like being able to start the cycle with the lid open, while loading the machine - can't do that anymore. The start, pause and stop function is a large clunk, which is a bit off putting, but the repair man tells me this is normal. My old machine had the centre agitator, but new one has bottom agitator, which really tangles the wash if you're doing jeans and long sleeve shirts. Also, the Auto Water Level doesn't seem to cover the clothes with water fully, so have to check each load has started. A plus is the new model is not as wide, so does fit into my laundry better. We have a solar hot water system, so the temperature of the hot water coming out of the tap can vary greatly across the seasons and even from day to day. It is difficult to judge the temperature of the warm water filling the machine without being able to physically feel it with your hand. Currently, I have to "pause" and "start" several times during the filling to test the water temperature, which probably isn't good for the machine. I realise this is not an issue limited to this particular F&P machine - it seems that all top loaders have this computerised feature nowadays. This is reported to be for customer safety and prevent burns, but in my opinion, this is safety gone too far at the expense of functionality. In Australia, the hot water coming out of the tap from a gas or electric hot water system, has a preset maximum temperature which is deemed "safe", so how is the hot water entering the washing machine any different? My previous machine would stop spinning in the spin cycle when the lid was opened - an understandable and reasonable safety feature - but would still continue to fill with water while the lid was open. Please return to this common sense approach. I also find the number of different types of cycles confusing - I would prefer more streamlined choices. Also, a reset button to allow a change in setting on the cycle once it has started would be good, in case a mistake is made.
