I was finally able to get in with my dr & they refitted me for this mask, however, my insurance wouldn’t cover another mask until March, so I bought it myself. I am SO glad I did!! Not only am I getting better rest again, this mask doesn’t hurt my face at all, since it doesn’t have any straps that lay across my cheekbones. Plus, the bottom straps go enough below my actual jawbone, that they aren’t pressing against my actual jaw joint. Not once have I lost a seal during the night with this mask either!! I absolutely love the way you can adjust the straps, not only on the sides of the head, but on the top as well. This mask is a winner in my books!!

This mask is excellent for those without glasses who sleep in moving trucks. The seal is fantastic, the headgear is very secure. It's way better than even the already good Philips DreamWear Full Face.That said, it comes with a few caveats.First, it's bulky due to being a full face mask. The plastic stability wing at the forehead only adds to this bulk, so if you're claustrophobic, or if you wear glasses,this mask is not for you. Get the DreamWear instead.Second, it's critical you have the correct cushion and head gear size. If you don't, it'll leak like crazy.Finally, you'll need the headgear straps a bit LOOSER than you do on other full face masks. You'll have lots of red marks if you get it too tight.

I was sent the old model mask first because later explained warehouse was out of stock. I am so impressed with your customer service and your company not over charging your customers for these much needed masks. I love the lighter weight head strap. I had a craniotomy in 11/2018 and my skull still gets tender with the CPAP usage. You’ve made it a kinder wear. Much appreciation!!!!!! No photos included. Just because I look like a pumpkin head.

As for Rapid CPAP - they were awesome. Incredibly quick delivery. East to order from, received updates - so service ion their end is excellent. Now - the mask. It seals well, is relatively comfortable. But after wearing it for an hour and a half it develops a wheezing sound coming from inside its parts. It remains sealed but the wheezing will make it impossible to actually sleep. Not to mention- your significant other won’t be very happy. Considering this - I can’t really say I like to and can’t recommend it. Disappointed given reviews I read. Maybe I just got a bad mask.
I have tried the various size masks that come with the package and adjustments with no success, my cpap machine recording every night over (100 leak L/min) air leakage with this mask? I dont feel any major leakage around the face seal, only through the venting holes on the front of the mask.I tried this alternating with a nasal mask every other night, the nasal mask records (1-5 leak L/min).I emailed chemist warehouse about my purchase but still haven't had a reply?
The design on this mask is truly baffling to me. Holes in the front of the mask turn you in to a literal house fan. This is nice for your partner on hot summer nights to have a continual breeze blowing on them. However, they will cover your head with a pillow on the other nights to shut off the wind. The leaking air throws off my CPAP reading, making it look like my mask seal is broken.What were the designers thinking? We’re they all single bachelors?
High tech at home sleep test instead of LAB. Respiratory Therapist consult helped with machine and mask fit. Still Viteri mask & cushion not for me. Reverted to F&P Simplus headgear & cushion. SIM card for reporting to main terminal is wonderful and can get daily reports on how well it’s working for you. Not happy about not getting credit for no-fit Viteri. Only offered partial for a cushion.
There are some very nice features to this mask. The headgear is very comfortable and doesn't seem to get moist when the room gets hot. Although the sight-line is slightly obstructed by the forehead piece, I can still watch things on my phone when needed. The cushion is soft, yet seals very well. I like how I can sleep on my side and not have to worry about the mask becoming dislodged-that's a big deal as I tend to sleep on my side exclusively. I also like that the exhale vent is set in such a way that it doesn't blow into my eyes when I exhale. The cushion is very flexible at the top, which causes less pressure on the bridge of the nose. It is more than strong enough to handle higher BiPAP-Type pressure settings. The frame is universal, so any size Vitera cushion ... MoreThere are some very nice features to this mask. The main fault I have found with the mask assembly is directed at it hook and loop connectors on the headgear, mainly the lower straps. After 6 months of use (right out of warranty), the hook material separates from it laminated base that serves as the attaching point to the headgear. The lamination separation ultimately occurred to both sides of the headgear, each on a different night. Having a mask suddenly pop off while asleep does provide for a rude awakening. The hooks that clipped to the mask were a bit weird but worked fine. I put a strip of velcro on the top of my headgear and strapped my airhose up to the top of my head when I laid down, to make it easier to turn over in the night. That worked well. Problems: You can't wear glasses with this mask. I used the medium mask one night and it made the bridge of my nose sore. I changed to the large mask and it let air blow up into my eyes occasionally during the night, and my nose still got sore, as if the mask were sliding downward to rest on my nose during my sleep. Why can't mask makers put the vents down low by the mouth area and use teeny holes that won't blast and won't be noisy? Anyway, if you're looking for a full-face mask that lets you sleep on your side, this is worth a try. My favorite mask at this time is the hybrid ResMed AirFit F30, with a bit of extra-wide pipe cleaner wound around inside the air vent, to deflect and quiet the air noise.
