Easy to order Easy to order online eapecially since Samsung stopped selling theirs through their Samsung shop. Also a lot cheaper than Samsung branded filters. Time will tell if the quality is the same but since you can buy 4 filters for the same price as 1 OEM it's not much of a gamble...

Fisher Paykel Housing Header will leak no matter genuine or compatible filter you use.Be wary of Fisher Paykels poor quality header. Filters are not the issue as Genuine filters also leak sadly.Needed to purchase new system or get warranty replacement from Fisher and Paykel.

Easy to use. Only thing

Easy to use. Only thing is, it would be more convenient to only have to change annually and not every 6 months! It gets expensive.

Frustrated

Pickup was easy...but...the filter came without the plastic wrapping mentioned in the install instructions and the replace filter indicator is already flashing. I wonder if this filter is defective or previously used and returned (hence if not being in plastic).

Genuine Part Works

The genuine part works just fine. The only tricky part is it only installs one way up.

May not be what you think you ordered

Be careful with this purchase. The picture, if there is one, shows a different water filter than the one you get. Takes a long time to get a credit as return has to be approved by seller.

Thirsty?

Ordered shipped quickly, well packed and came in earlier than expected. Love my Fisher Paykel fridge and the OG filters is what I was looking for. Price is steep but that’s on F&P, but still lowest price found from a distributor. Thank you!

Watch out on the "hassle free" return.

I needed to return my filter purchase (which had qualified for free shipping). They gladly took the product back but are now deducting the shipping costs both ways from my refund (I no longer require any filters - so credit doesn't work for me) That policy certainly wasn't on the return policy information on their website. Won't be buying here again.

Way cheaper in USA

I ordered this from fridge-filters once, then realized they are only $80 USD in the USA and $89 cad back east, why such a huge mark up? Stopped ordering here and get them to my Blaine mailbox now.

works perfectly!

I considered ordering a cheaper filter that wasn't Fisher and Paykel but after reading other reviews and realizing that doing so could damage my fridge I went with this one. The water works fantastically, ice machine is working great and both water and ice taste great! Very happy with my decision.
