Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Game & Learn Controller

I think the whole concept of the controller is really cute! Especially since my son loves to watch my fiancé play video games so giving him the controller. He seem like he’s playing too. But after a while, he gets bored with it, but I figured out you could do the little cheat code on it to get a Mario tell him to play so I’ve been doing that a lot and I showed my fiancé and he’s been doing it as well. I did keep him amused on our trip back home to visit family over 700 miles so all in all it’s a really cute toy.

I got this because, honestly, I just thought it was super cute. My daughter was a lot younger when I bought this for her, so it’s challenging for her to figure out how to use it without drooling all over it and putting it in her mouth. But there is a remarkable thing that Toy does; if you Google it on YouTube, there’s like some particular song that plays if you press the buttons a certain way. So I thought that was pretty cool too. But in everyday life, she didn’t seem that interested in it, so gotta give it a four out of five. 

I purchased the Fisher Price laugh learn game controller recently for my niece. Her parents were letting her play with a broken X Box controller so I thought this would be a fun toy for her. Also, it’s lightweight and much more fun/age appropriate for her to use. I love old school video games and this controller looked similar to that. I may be a bit embarrassed to admit that I had a bit of fun toying with this controller myself. I think it’s great for children and for their development in learning. This is also a well made and quality device at an affordable price. I definitely recommend it!

So we got this because our lil wouldn't stop taking mommy and daddy's controller. It's great for. Little while to distract them. There isn't much in the way of lights which is good for some. I don't mind either way personally it does make some noises. I honestly think one thing that would help is maybe some sort of small "wire" portion. For our kiddo that's what they were interested in most so this didn't do too much to stop em going for the real one when it was on the charger but I would buy it again.

We decided to get this toy for my son because he was always trying to get my husband’s Xbox controller. He liked looking at the light and that the joystick would move. He would grab his hand or just lean his head toward the Xbox light. So when we found this we HAD to get it. It has a bunch of different lights that flash when songs or sounds play, and a bunch of different songs. It’s really cute. I have to admit I even like playing with it sometimes 😂 needless to say if your child is around you or someone who plays video games, you’ll probably be buying one of these in the future.

Baby loves this toy

I tend to avoid Fisher-Price toys because there's too much plastic junk in the world, but my aunt bought this for my baby at about 6 months of age and it was an instant hit. At that age, my baby just smacked the toy around and stared at the flashing lights in fascination. Four months later, my baby still plays with this toy daily and has learned how to move the joystick to get the song to play (seems to be the favorite part of the toy) and also now pushes the individual buttons intentionally. I appreciate the easy to access volume control on the back -- we usually have it at the lowest volume but I will also sometimes turn it off when my baby wants to play with the toy and I don't want the noise for whatever reason.

Birthday gift for toddler

Just what i was looking for! Bought this as a birthday gift for a 2 year old. In a house of gamers! Everyone loved this! Lights up and sings.. Push on the buttons and it teaches a few colors, numbers, letters.. The toddler felt like she was playing the game with her daddy because she was holding the controller! I would definitely recommend this item! And its from Fisher-Price! Great Company 😁

Not as annoying as you might assume!

Relatively light for little hands. Options to turn the sound off, low and high with a small switch set into the back. Each letter button has three sounds it rotates through in each setting; for example, under the 'learning' setting, the star button will say 'star,' 'orange' and 'D.' The controller sings a little song if you press the four numbers or the four letters in the correct order.The 'play' setting is a bit more annoying, in my opinion. It mostly just makes videogame-like sounds, but again, each button has several sounds attached to it. My 8 month old has a tricky time pressing the buttons on purpose, and mostly knocks just the joystick around. A pretty good purchase if you have little hands that try to hold your actual Xbox controller!

Not for teethers!

This toy is dangerous for any teething baby! My son was able to put his whole mouth around the left joy stick. His teeth got stuck between the controller and the joystick. I had to prime his mouth open and the roof of his mouth was bleeding due to removing it as gently as I could. He was under my supervision and I was shocked at how fast it occurred. This toy shouldn’t be used with teething babies!
