Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Light-up Learning Vacuum

My one year old son loves helping us vacuum when we clean our house. We got him this as a birthday present since he always tries to hold our vacuum he loved it! It has fun, catchy songs nice colors too. I absolutely love that it makes a vacuum sound too if you flip the switch up start moving it. The only “complain” i have is that the switch sometimes becomes loose it will go to the off/bottom instead of up/on. I can still make it work but it gets frustrating at times. I think it could just be that we got a defective one however we still enjoy this toy very much!

I had very high hopes for the Fisher Price Laugh Learn Light up Learning Vacuum. My 1 year old loves to try to help when he sees me vacuuming, so I bought him this toy so he could help me “clean”. It lights up, it sings, it makes vacuum noises; all of which was expected. My biggest complaint is it doesn’t stand up on its own. It’s also not very sturdy; if your child is still a bit of an unsteady walker then this product is not for you.

My child loves to make a mess, he comes up with the most creative ways to make messes and always keeps me on my toes. My vacuum is always working overtime, he would see me clean and want to push the real vacuum. This toy was perfect cause he feels like he is helping and being helpful and having another activity besides making cool little messes and trying to crayon on the walls is a good skill to learn no matter how young. My only question is why can’t they make a kids vacuum that’s safe and also that actually works. that would be ideal. he loves his vacuum and loves sucking up all the crumbs with mommy on the daily

This had me cracking up because I was not expecting my 13 month old nephew to like it as much as he did! I’ve never seen someone so excited to vacuum. Ever 🤣. He gets the biggest smile on his face and walks around the house vacuuming. This toy is just as entertaining for the little ones as it is for the adults! I will definitely be getting one for mine my baby. Hopefully it will encourage him to enjoy cleaning growing up instead of hating it… 🙏🏻🤷‍♀️

Awful! Pick something else! So small, doesnt stand upright.

This review is not a reflection on target. don’t know what they were thinking with this Vacuum. Fisher Price, c’mon now! The vintage vacuums were way way better. First of all, this toy is not just small, it’s EXTREMELY small. My son is 18m and is about 32” tall and he even has to bend to use it. We jokingly call it a dust buster since it’s so small. Why does everything have to be electronic and educational? Can’t kids just have old fashioned fun with a vacuum with popping balls for debris? Use their imaginations. Everything today is playing a tune, counting, singing. It’s great for a few things but seems like that’s the way with everything! It really, sucks no pun intended. The packaging shows this toy with a child who is much older than my 18m, and it makes me laugh how this young boy is comfortably using this toy when he is so much taller than my kid who has to bend to use it. Sadly, the ONLY feature I like is it makes a true vacuum sound. The color isn’t bad but it’s not realistic at all. FP—Make a bigger vacuum. Make it simpler, make it like a retro version you’d make millions because your evolution of toys is really disappointing. Just bought a vintage one and it is 30 years old as is 100x better than one from 2021! Quality of toys today just isn’t what it used to be. Disappointed! Ok rant over.

Cute but i dont recommend

Is this vacuum cute? Yes. It looks and sounds like a vacuum. It doesn’t annoy us like other toys. Is it one of the toys my daughter has played with the least in all her three years she’s had it? Yes! I thought it was because it’s so small and she’s so tall for her age. But my son just turned one and also doesn’t play with it. And yes we changed the batteries. It is annoying it doesn’t stay standing. Surely there are better options available than this.

Interactive & Cute Toy

My son is almost 2 and loves helping me vacuum so this was a must! Fun colored lights and it makes a vacuum noise in addition to the songs & phrases. 2 volume settings (bless you Fisher-Price). Only downsides are its height (16" and my son is 30" so some bending to use and we may not get to 36 months with it) also it does not click into the upright position which means it lies flat on the floor unless you prop it against the wall. Not a big deal for my little guy, slightly annoying for Mama!

Lovely present

Lovely toy for toddlers. It is not very high so check appropriate before buying. The box was damaged on arrival (the outer box was undamaged so this had happened prior to being sent). This was disappointing as it was a present. The toy was going off on delivery too and so had not been switched off before packaging - so wasting battery time. Otherwise, it is a good toy with a lovely happy voice and lights.

Not impressed with walmart online-shopping

I had ordered this toy on the October 5th got it on the October 8th with only the handle. The vacuums body was not even in the package. I returned the toy to my closest walmart store a few hours after I had received the toy from Fedex. I got a refund. I tried again. Bought this toy on the 8th and got it today, 20-30mins ago. Everything was there. But thats not all. The vacuum body was not secured like it should’ve been. When you buy a new toy it usually has the hard plastic handles that you turn to “unlock” the toy from its packaging. I’m not even going to try and take it back, atleast everything works. Walmart make sure the toys are secured in their package.
