Awesome watch. What I wear it everyday. I’m had the newest Apple Watch and always felt uncomfortable. It very simple and to the point. The fit bit application is great. I love the alarm. It’s the most gentle way to be woken up for work at 3am. It charges ridiculously fast and the battery lasts all week. I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend!!!One thing you definitely need for maximum comfort is a cream for your wrist to prevent irritation. I use dry Deodorant on the inside of my wrist and it’s perfect. The watch itself does not cause any irritation just the band. Would definitely recommend upgrading to something that breathes a little better.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. The Charge 6 uses the same physical design of the Charge 5 while adding a haptic button like what the Charge 4 had. It is lower profile/slimmer than the Charge 4, which is nice for sleep tracking as it is not uncomfortable to wear when your arm is crammed beneath a pillow.Google Maps integration is nice, if gimmicky, but is mainly useful for exercise routes, not for driving in a car. I have noticed that the watch will vibrate when your direction changes to the next step instead of vibrating right before you are about to change direction (if that makes sense). The reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is that I have yet to test the GPS accuracy while exercising and accurately measuring heart rate. The Charge 5 had an issue where you could get either accurate GPS tracking OR accurate heart rate monitoring, but not both due to poor design. To get good heart rate monitoring, the device needs to be close to your skin, which prevented the GPS from getting a good signal.Otherwise the device comes with the usual behaviors and integrations of previous generations of Charge devices, which at this point are fairly robust and work reliably. If you can get it on sale, it is definitely worth the price.

Better than the Charge 5, for sure.

I like the fit of the Charge family devices (I've had a Charge 5 and now this 6). I have a small wrist and they work well. The 6 does seem to give better heart rate data then the 5 (they advertise this as a feature). I liked the older version of their app more, but it is what it is. These devices take a surprisingly long time to synch in the morning... 30 seconds to a minute . I still wonder about the accuracy, and thus value, of any the sleep info... Kind of like... no way did I have zero deep and zero REM sleep yesterday, but that's what is reported or waking from a dream and seeing you had no REM sleep last night. Huh. The charge lasts 3-5 days if I don't use GPS. We shall see after Christmas.

I love my Fitbit! I tried the apple watch because my wife gave me one for Father’s Day. Needless to say, I hated it. Fitbit just seems more accurate, minimalistic and battery lasts a whole week. I bought the Fitbit charge 6 and they solved the biggest issue I had with Fitbit: the lack of a wider variety of workouts. While there are still some missing, I feel like the selection is good enough to be able to do most workouts! I love it.Don’t expect to use it like an Apple Watch; checking messages and things like that is not great since the screen is so tiny. It’s meant for your workouts , vitals and all that good stuff. For everything else, you got a cell phone.

Not as happy with Charge 6 as I was with my cCharge 5 before I did the update. The update destroyed my Charge 5 just as Charge 6 was coming out.I can't see % of charge status on my phone app since 5 update and on my new Charge 6.I don't have option of choosing from all the mindfulness exercises at a time; I get limited choices, so I might not be able to do my favorite exercises.I felt it was worth it anyway to get the charge 6 for all the other data it provides though I hate the "unsustainable for our planet" of planned obsolescence.I will not ever do another update on a devise like this because when I updated my Charge 5, which I loved, update was the beginning of the end.At least Best Buy gave me credit for amount I paid for the 5 to apply to my new Charge 6.

Good but certainly not great watch.

A good, but certainly not great, watch for me. Seems to work well and reliable so far. Display is bright enough. Charge holds for many days, and this is a big plus.On the negative side, Fitbit removed a very useful feature from last version, that of jumping back to the time with a double-tap. Instead, have to scroll with swipes, which can be annoying. Fitbit has also removed the ā€œflights of stairsā€ estimate from its activity summary. Finally, Fitbit also removed the details on steps and calories per 15 minute period throughout the day. Why would they remove such useful features??

It could benefit from some more strap options but I'd steer clear of stainless steel straps as that moves away from the fitness tracker element.Overall a great improvement on what I experienced a few years ago and I'm please with the purchase.

Not tracking the distance walked correctly. I have changed my stride in the app but it is still way under the mileage from what I actually walked. Todays example: I walked 5.14 miles but tracked only 3.6. Also I cannot get a sleep score or stages. It always shows a simplified sleep detail. I hate the new format change Fitbit made to the app. All my probelms started then. I have worked with customer serivce on the phone but that solved nothing. I am familiar with Fitbit and how it performs since this is my 3rd one. Never had issues before.

I’m upgrading from a Charge 5 to this under unique circumstances where this one is significantly more worth it for me to have. I like the google maps integration and how it tells you where to go next, I think I will probably try that out on my next big bike ride when I get a chance, will see how that goes and will come back if I think of anything notable to add on that. As other reviews particularly on Amazon would tell you, ease of connectivity during setup seems to be inconsistent. I was able to get mine to successfully connect after several rounds of restarting the tracker and my phone, but it did take me about 20 minutes. If you have trouble like I did, reset the Fitbit in the setup phase - use the included charging cable that has a button on it and press the button 3 times with about a second in between presses (you should feel/hear the Fitbit respond to the button press). You’ll know it reset successfully if you see the Fitbit logo reappear. Once it connected, I haven’t had problems with it disconnecting yet (again, will come back and update if this changes).
