I have a really nice watch that I don't want to stop using, but there is a surprising lack of clip-on pedometers available in today's market. My Fitbit One finally bit the dust (RIP). I hadn't used my Charge 2 in the past few years, because I didn't want to be double-wristing my watch-like devices. So I settled on this device because I figured I'd could flip it around and have it appear as a bracelet next to my watch, but also it can be converted to a clip on. I do really like it overall, but I was amazed to learn how little I can change about it. I don't care about the meditation or some of the other built-in features, but I can't remove them. With such a small little screen, it's really frustrating to have to keep them to swipe through in order to get to a feature I want. You're also locked in to a clock face, and basically can only choose one metric (steps, heart rate, etc.) to see at a glance at a time. The clock faces are kind of ugly and blockish, and then you have to scroll down to check some of the other metrics. And there's no changing it. I already have a watch - I don't care about the time. But I can't forego the clock for the metrics I actually care about. But overall I think it's the best option for me if I want a pedometer that looks like jewelry, and at a reasonable price. I have a big wrist and most bracelets are too small, so I was also worried whether the links would work for me. But the different link sizes provide a lot of flexibility in the size that it can be made to accomodate.

It was wonderful until it stopped working. I had this product for about a year and a half before it stopped working, and my daughter had one for several months. We've narrowed the breaking down to using alarms. Mine worked perfectly though daily wear, swimming, exercising, etc. until I set a daily alarm to replace one on my phone. Suddenly I started having battery issues. At first it would simply use a lot of battery each day and I realized the timing so I turned off the alarm, but the damage was done. It started dying anytime I met my step goal because it vibrated. It would get half way though the vibration notification and go dead. But when I plugged it in, it still showed high battery life, it just wouldn't wake the screen or count steps or anything until I ... MoreIt was wonderful until it stopped working. Then it started "dying" half way through the day but plugging it in it shows at least 60% battery. It's unusable now because it "dies"and doesn't count steps or display the watch even when charged. My daughter used her Fitbit for alarms from the very beginning. She didn't have any battery issues, but she was missing alarms. We set several test alarms and none of them went off. We came to the conclusion that you just can't use this Fitbit with alarms because it ruins the motor and then the Fitbit altogether.

It's a beautiful watch/fitness tracker and arrived in RECORD time! (Thank you!) All the electronic functions on it seem to work very well and it was quite easy to make the metal bracelet the correct length for my wrist. The only difficulty I've had with it is trying to get the metal bracelet to 'seat' itself correctly. I have had another Luxe (not with the Gorjana band, just the plain Fitbit one) for over 2 years. I purchased other color bands for it and have no difficulty changing one band color for another. This is the first time I've had a problem, and it was only with the Gorjana band. It just didn't want to go into the Fitbit and the first few times I thought I had it, it kept popping out of one side or the other (I'm glad I was still 'playing' with it, lying ... Once I finally got both sides seated properly (tugged to make sure) I didn't want to take the band out again, so I'm using my OLD Luxe when I'm doing something that I'm afraid might scratch the Gorjana band. A bit of a pain to keep re-installing one Luxe for the other, but ya do what ya gotta do! Still - it's a beautiful look - and the seller shipped VERY quickly!

Looked pretty, but battery was dying after 24 hours and I ended up taking it back and getting an Inspire 3 which has all the exact same functionality but not the pretty screen. Inspire 3 has lasted me 7 days without a battery change so far, and has sensors on the side to turn the fitbit on. I have quite calloused fingers so the fitbit luxe was incredibly irritating to use as it has no manual button to turn it on with and turning on with a wrist gesture was super unreliable. The luxe wasn't even recording my sleep for the week that I wore it, and took FOREVER to sync to the app. I do believe it was a faulty model but the Inspire 3 has been a million times better with better functionality and battery life so I will not be giving the Luxe another go.As an additional ... I seriously can't recommend the Inspire 3 more.
This is our second Dyson ball vacuum. The first one was over 20yrs old and would probably have lasted another 20 years if we hadn't killed it during a kitchen reno. There's a large filter deep in the bowels of the machine and we could have bought a replacement. However, the replacement was expensive (but it did last 20yrs) and I didn't want to take the risk of spending that much on a 20yr old vacuum cleaner. So here we are with a newer, larger version and we're not disappointed. It holds more before it needs emptying, it's easier to empty and the suction......phenomenal. Even allowing for the age of the old one, this one sucks hard. Same Dyson high quality too. As a bonus for the environment, Dyson has a freepost address for you to send back the old unit for ... As a bonus for the environment, Dyson has a freepost address for you to send back the old unit for recycling. So keep the box that your new one came in. I have only one small criticism of this new machine. The on/off switch is a little harder to get to. The machine needs to be in the right orientation or you can't get to it with your foot. The old one was way easier. (First world problem.) Would I recommend this Machine? Most definitely.
Love the small, compact size & color display. The band only comes in a few colors, but the Luxe has a long battery life. It’s easy to sync on the app, but if you can’t access your phone there is no option to sync on the laptop. You can only program up to 6 activities at a time. If you want to log an activity that is not available in the preset choices, you can change the name from the directory (such as "workout" to “Zumba”) but it lacks the ability to let you type in a specific activity that is not on the list (a feature that the Garmin Vivomart 4 has). If the Luxe fails to log a short walk, you can log the activity manually. I find the Luxe to be nearly accurate at tracking sleep. If the Luxe fails to log a short walk, you can log the activity manually. I find the Luxe to be nearly accurate at tracking sleep. It breaks down the stages of sleep and shows you how much time you were in deep sleep vs light sleep, etc. The watch lets you get email/text/phone notifications in a feed on the display. This can either be helpful or annoying but this feature can be turned off. Of course, the Luxe also tracks calories & heart rate and you can log your food & water intake, as well as your weight. Fitbit recently teamed up with Google, which might be a plus. Overall, the Luxe is a good, reliable tracker.
Small (which is why I went for this one) but the screen is almost unreadable as a result - have to put glasses on to see the charge status, for example. But as I wear a "proper" watch too, I didn't want to have two watch sized things on my wrists, so I accept that compromise, but worth being aware if this is your only wrist device. It captures plenty of data, although to make the most of it you need to pay for an annual Fitbit subscription, which is almost as much as the device itself! The battery lasts for a while, although has a very annoying habit of giving you a "battery low" warning (via email) in the middle of the night and then not making it through until morning before powering down. Would be good to know BEFORE there are only a couple of hours left!! Charging the device can be flaky - can be at 3%, clip the charger on and it immediately says "35% charge". Can also be left to charge and despite not touching the device (being in a room with no one else in there) it somehow stops charging.Overall, would I get another one? No. Would I swap it for something else? Possibly, but not a "big screen Apple Watch type thing). Perhaps if there was a small, discrete one that had a better user experience (thinking maybe Whoop).
Let me start by saying I am a diehard Fitbit fan -- I think there is a lot more functionality and more of an end-to-end experience with Fitbit than Apple Watch. I was looking to replace my Inspire HR, and when I saw this Fitbit Luxe with this band, ON SALE, I had to have it. The phone app is great, as always, and I was excited to see the new features I could use with my Luxe. I didn't realize you couldn't have two trackers paired at once (the way that Apple can), so that sucked, as I was planning to keep my Inspire HR paired until I was sure I was sticking with the Luxe. After first setting it up and customizing the faces, I realized that the actual retail size of the face is a .5" rectangle, which makes a lot of the faces appear very small. The majority of the ... The majority of the highly-advertised color screen is a large bezel. I love that Fitbits tend to be smaller on the wrist and appear more like jewelry, and thats why this band/device appealed to me. But I think the band is pretty poorly designed. The link removal is strange -- each link has a different sized clasp (short or long) and it makes for an awkward in-between fit for my small wrist. One large-clasp link is too small, two small-clasp links fit but are still a bit snug, and mixing and matching the links makes it way too large to be useful at reading my heart rate. I feel like the style of this band is meant to be worn slightly loose (like a charm bracelet), but the Fitbit is meant to remain more snug, so they're conflicting. The links also break the pattern of the aesthetic design of the bracelet by having two or three circles next to each other rather than oval-circle-oval. For me, because of my wrist sizing, the circles are off-center. When I flip my wrist over, I hate how the bracelet looks. It also seems like the band does not stay flush to the device. Even when hooked into the device, it always wiggles out to leave a small gap between the band and the device. I also loved the stainless mesh bands from my Inspire HR, and planned to buy one for my Luxe, but Fitbit has updated these bands for the Luxe model to have a new magnet clasp that I hear is annoying. The band/look of this Fitbit was one of the top reasons I bought this particular device over something like an Inspire. I like my trackers to look like jewelry and be more subtle, so I'm a little disappointed that it missed the mark. I'm continuing to test the new features of the Luxe to see if they're worth my purchase despite my disappointments, but if not I may return the device and buy the Inspire 3 or just return it and continue using my Inspire HR.
I like the way this looks, it's neat and dainty. I don't like plastic straps so always choose tracker that look like gold jewellery and I'm pleased with it - I think it looks expensive. I had to remove some of the links to fit my wrist but that was easy enough to do. Getting it on and off isn't easy but there's a knack to that and so because of that I think it would be difficult to come off accidentally. Changing from the plastic strap wasn't as straightforward as the video I watched said it would be. One side went on fairly easily but the other side didn't and I had to ask my husband to do it but he struggled too. Neither side is totally flush but seem impossible to get out and looks fine. Others have said that this has been a problem and I keep checking. It works ... MoreI like the way this looks, it's neat and dainty. I can also swim in it. It also tells me how long I've slept or remind me to get moving which is useful to me but not vital. It's not been that easy to program on the watch itself mainly because the face is so small and I've not found the app the easiest to use either. I found the standard clock face difficult to read accurately so have changed that to digital.I'm very happy with it.

Additionally, the Fitbit app makes it easy to log your workouts, set goals, and track your progress, so you can stay motivated. The Fitbit Luxe also looks and feels great on your wrist. My wrists are really slim, thus, I cannot do with one of the bigger and heavy ones. Its slim profile and lightweight design make it comfortable to wear all day long, and the elegant black finish adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. Additionally, the battery life is excellent, holding its charge for longer periods, also longer than the 3 days it says when you do not need to check everything all the time.Overall, the Fitbit Luxe in black is a fantastic fitness and wellness tracker that does exactly what it promises. It's accurate, comfortable, stylish, and delivers a long enough lasting battery life.I very much enjoy this slim Fitbit.
