I am not sure why these bags are popular. I fell for the logo and the marketing. I ordered it online and had high expectations. I was sorely disappointed to discover that the material feels like plastic. I was expecting more of a canvas feel. It is not supple like fabric and is more plastic-y.This particular bag is small. Like a Fanny pack size but in a different shape. I like how it hangs when you put it on and the strap has ample room for adjustment, even for someone plus sized. And the gold color is nice. The positives stop there.Inside the main compartment, there is no clip for your keys. That’s a complete dealbreaker for me. The front outside little pocket seems too small for anything, maybe chapstick. The handles have a little snap on them so if you wanted to unzip the main compartment, you’d have to unsnap it and the snap is a little hard to open. You could leave it open but it looks better snapped shut.Overall, I’m so disappointed by the material this bag is made of, I will be returning it. I don’t know if it’s just this model or if they are all made the same way.

As some people say, the straps are very short as a backpack. I think it’s better to describe this bag as a “tote with an extra function” and not think of it as a backpack.I mainly use it as a tote for work but sometimes my toddler will throw a fit on the way to preschool so that’s when I convert it to a backpack so I can be hands free. Now that I’m hands free I can drag my toddler to the school entrance, yay!The fabric is not the same as the original Kanken, just a heads up. And it’s not as spacious, but it works great for me. It comes with an extra pocket inside that the original Kanken backpack doesn’t have, and because of the fabric it feels sturdier.

I am amazed at how much this bag holds. Huge fan of the brand-own several and this does not disappoint! I use a smaller wallet. Room for sunnies, reading glasses, key’s, phone, touch up powder and lipstick! I tossed in a mini nars blush with mirror. Still room and it’s the lightest of weight. I can add tissues, a fan b/c it’s hot as all get out where I live. Long adjustable strap is fantastic. Yes, the front pocket zipper takes some coaxing but it’s the water resistant material. I use that for keys and reach in for the fob to set alarm. It’s the cutest thing ever! Love love love!

I bought this to hold a 15-inch laptop, and it just fits in nicely, as I wanted to have a practical but small enough bag to commute with. The quality looks strong so far, but only time will tell. However, the price is a bit on the high side. I wish the backpack straps were padded to make carrying on the shoulder more comfortable, especially when wearing just a shirt without thick clothing. Anyway, let's see if the straps and the material will last. I still recommend it, if the price is not a deciding factor for you.
I have wanted a mustard crossbody for a while. This wasn’t a nice deep mustard, more yellow. Though it never claimed to be mustard so can’t knock that.It’s a cute crossbody but with the handles and material, it felt a little basic. I would have preferred a thicker material and only crossbody strap. Can’t imagine that many carrying it by handles and they just get in the way.It’s pretty small. And it just looks and feels like it was made for a teen.I have other Fjallraven products and love them. This one wasn’t for me.
I saw this bag on the shoulder of a much younger woman and thought that she had found the perfect multifunctional bag. It’s not huge and has lots of space, but not many compartments. I’m using an organizer in it to serve my daily needs, but have tossed my iPad in the padded pocket (a removable pad that also functions as a seat cushion), added a large water bottle and a hoodie. This is great for going to kids’ sporting events, taking into the city and for travel. The shoulder strap is long enough for the bag to tuck under your arm, and the straps convert to a slim backpack. I like it so much, I now have 2!
