I bought a women’s 42. I am 5’5” 165lbs and typically wear a women’s size 10. I was surprised to find these run a little small if you have some squish to you. The stiff seat created a tight line on the back of my upper thigh where it’s a little uncomfortable. I chose to keep the size as I’m am slimming down a little this summer. Quality is impeccable, I expect these to last many adventures. Mine were too long, so I called fjallraven, and they sent me a shipping label to have my pant length altered for free. Awesome!

I got regular fit mid waist. I am 5’7 165lbs. My regular size is 32” by 32” length. I sized up to 35-36”(46) and they fit perfectly on my waist and in length. I have long legs so if your legs are short, note that this size is 33” length.I love the gaiter grip hook for keeping out debris. The extra length is excellent used attached to laces(you can snap them in if you prefer more tapered). The pants are rugged, well protected in all the right places and have large pockets that both zip and snap shut. Two zippers on the top and bottom sides open up for circulation if it’s warm out. They are a bit heavy for mid summer canoeing and hiking but perfect for doing, late summer, and fall hiking, canoeing, camping, approach etc…..You might need to get two sizes to find the ... MoreI got regular fit mid waist. Overall fantastic pants. It’s not easy to find women’s pants with this rugged style so these get 5 stars from me. It the first pair with reinforced material I didn’t have to get in the men’s section.

These are my favorite pants of all time. I wear them every day. My 1st paid lasted me over 6 year and they're still good other than I started doing odd jobs/painted in them (mistake) I'm 5'8" at about 155lbs. The 38 fits very nice/tighter. Recent sale I bought 2 new pairs, 38 and 40 and am happy with both, both fit great.

I am 174CM / 82KG maleBut I bought a women's black size EU42The length of the pants was long and repaired, but in all respects I am very satisfied.Camping, trekking, and even climbing.
Tested in trip to Nunavut. Very comfortable an sturdy. Love the aeration zipper. Just wish they make the point. 36 running bit small and 38 way too large. I’m 5,6.
I bought these pants about 10 months ago, I work with sled dogs and was looking for something that had plenty of pockets for carrying various hardware and something that could be worn on its own and still have enough stretch to fit a base layer underneath. The fit was mostly good, and they were very comfortable and I liked wearing them. They look great, I love the function of them, but seriously they are not durable in the least. They were worn pretty much every day from June to August, and after that worn once or twice on a hiking trip and a few days during this winter. I noticed after only wearing them for about a month or so that the area in the crotch where the stretchy fabric connects to the g-1000 was already starting to separate. I noticed after only wearing them for about a month or so that the area in the crotch where the stretchy fabric connects to the g-1000 was already starting to separate. After having not worn them for a few months, I put them on during a camping trip and in two days the fabrics separated in the crotch/behind leaving me with a hole several inches long. I spent 30 $ on a pair of Columbia trail pants 3 years ago and they have seen much harder and frequent use and it is sad that they have managed to outlast the Fjallraven pants. I expect that a 200 $ pair of pants should last much longer than this. Quite the shame since I was hoping to buy another pair of Fjallraven pants but now I see they aren't worth the ridiculous amount of money they are asking for them. I guess if you like the style and only plan on wearing them occasionally they might work well, but when I spend that much money on something I plan on using it.
