This backpack has everything going for it; clean uncluttered design with white interior to easily locate an item, durable material, and lightweight. Another plus was the laptop sleeve. It is well padded including on the bottom for sufficient protection of the laptop, which I have not seen in many other backpacks in this same class.Cons: Found it to difficult to place items inside the main compartment. It is far too rigid of a shell making the task of placing and retrieving something from it unpleasant.

I love this backpack. I've had it for a few months. It's sleek and good-looking. The water bottle pockets hold smaller water bottles and larger (32oz) water bottles without taking out. I wish there was a second inner mesh pocket for more organization. I like the sternum strap and shoulder straps. It's slim and has just enough space for a day.

As a college student, I was skeptical about buying this backpack. I was about to move to Boston from my home in California and during my preparation to move, decided that I should buy a waterproof backpack. At first, I was skeptical about this backpack mainly because of the lack of reviews on it making me thing people either didn't buy it or maybe bought it but never liked it, but I am happy I went with my gut feeling and bought it anyways. The tough Bergshell fabric is amazing and the backpack's size is perfect for a student. I got caught in a massive rainstorm that left me soaked in water, yet the backpack kept itself and all my belongings dry. The sternum strap does wonders and the straps and back are well made for ventilation purposes. The water bottle pockets ... MoreAs a college student, I was skeptical about buying this backpack. I prefer my backpacks to be stiff on the back so I remember to keep my back straight and not hunch over because I am tall and have a habit of doing so, and this backpack was perfect for my needs. I am beyond satisfied with it and I do recommend it to anyone in need of a good bag.

I enjoy this bag so far, but there are a few annoying things.First the bag is 18.25" tall, not 17.7" as described. I know this is nitpicky, but I was specifically looking for a bag that was under 18" to better fit under airline seats.I also don't like the fad of using mesh on the straps. It doesn't provide any benefit. The mesh used is abrasive against the skin and also feels hot against the skin. The bag could also use a key clip and some organization in the outer pocket.Otherwise the bag is pretty nice. The main zipper can be hard to operate but is the consequence of having the weather resistant flap over the zipper.
I used this backpack as my personal item on a recent flight, and it worked well! It's comfortable with the padded back and sternum straps, and the blue color looks great. It doesn't have a huge amount of space inside, but I was still able to fit my tech organizer, headphones, medicine bag and a change of clothes, plus some odds and ends. The side sleeves are big enough for a 1 liter Nalgene, but you have to really stretch them if the pack is full. I also like being able to hook water bottles into the compression straps.Overall, this was an excellent purchase!
I am really pleased with this bag. It’s comfortable and roomy. There is a side zipped pocket and two water bottle pockets and a mesh zippered pocket inside next to some pen holders. The laptop sleeve is padded and the laptop doesn’t go all the way to the bottom, so you never have to worry about banging it on a surface. I just wish it had an inside key loop so I would have to put my keys in the meat pocket. The shoulder straps are soft and comfortable and easy to adjust. Nice feature is an elastic loop to stop the extra strap bits from flailing. Overall a roomy, comfortable bag.
I love the stretchy side pockets on this backpack. They are much more accommodating then the side pockets on the Kanken, which require a side pocket addition to accommodate certain water bottles and insulated cups.I like that the inside liner is white, because it’s easy to see all my stuff. I would have liked if the zipper went all the way down to the bottom, like the Kanken, because the bottom of the bag is narrower than the top. I haven’t used the inside zip pocket at all, and I usually keep my pens in a pencil pouch, so I haven’t found a use for the pen pockets… The large inside pocket fits my 15 inch laptop nicely. The front pocket fits more then it looks like it will. Oh! And this does not come with a seat cover. One more thing! I compared a bunch of ... MoreI love the stretchy side pockets on this backpack. The front pocket fits more then it looks like it will. Oh! And this does not come with a seat cover. One more thing! I compared a bunch of different Fjallraven bags- the Singi 20L, the Olvo, the Keb, and the Kanken. This backpack is the one that ticked all the boxes for me- it’s lightweight (at 5’0, I’m basically a child-sized adult), waterproof, it accommodates my laptop, water bottle, and a thin yoga mat (side pocket/strap), and it’s ethically made from recycled material. I love that it has a chest strap- it distributes the weight of my pack nicely, but it is a little hard to adjust. That’s maybe way more than you wanted to know, but if you want a functional bag that also looks great, this is it!
I needed a day pack to replace my very old one, this one was recommended to me. I must say, this is everything I need in a day pack : big enough for a hard day of hiking, rugged, very comfortable. I like the big main compartment and completely separate smaller compartment, it makes organization easy. Side stretch pocket are great for water bottles. Just a great little bag, nothing negative to say about it.
This backpack works really well for day hikes (especially when it rains -- perfectly waterproofed)! I love that it has two side pocket holders for water bottles. The top zipper also allows for easy access to your contents. Something I wish it did was to fold/roll for ease of packing in a suitcase (unfortunately, it doesn't due to the firm material needed for the protected laptop section).
This bag is exactly what I was looking for! I needed to replace my ripping computer bag for work and wanted something simple, functional, and not ultra feminine that could travel easily between my urban office and also remote construction sites. It is stylish but not flashy and is very comfortable to wear. I love the hidden front pocket, it's waterproof material, and that it can expand nicely without looking strange.
