I hesitated to initially buy these as the price was high for leggings. However, this brand never fails me and upon receiving a pair in black (my first order) I immediately ordered these in the red. I have worn these leggings hiking, running, and they are so comfortable. The extra padding is perfect for backcountry hiking. The reinforced knees and bottom make them durable and dependable. And the placement of pockets is perfect. I love the waist cord system and my fav is the map pocket. These have been one of my best buys this year. Worth every penny. And they are super flattering!

After lusting after these pants for years I was thrilled to discover they were in sale in my size. Sadly, when I received them and tried them on they gave me a case of cameltoe so horrifyingly obvious I didn't think I could even summon the courage to wear them by myself hiking in the wilderness with no witnesses. Great material; seem mighty durable. I love the reinforcements...but cameltoe is a dealbreaker. I am not one to ever encounter cameltoe in clothing; what is with the Swedes??? It was frankly too roomyin some places but not the genitals.

I used these tights on a 5-day trek in Patagonia + 1 ice trekking day and I'm so glad I chose these as my only bottoms!! The knees and butt didn't bag out with continued wear (like regular yoga pants might without being washed) and the reinforcements made it so I didn't snag or tear the garment when I was sitting on a rock, sliding down a rock, or...falling down onto a rock. The foldover pocket was perfect for my phone as it was easily accessible but still secure; there was no chance of it falling out. There's also a zippered pocket that was good for a little snack storage. The band of the tights went high enough over the hips that there was no sagging or riding down in the back and the hipbelt of my pack was able to sit over the band comfortably. Some days were ... Size small fits hip size is 38 inches which I was concerned would be too big. Based on an earlier reviewer whose description sounded like she is of similar size, I decided to try the extra small first. They fit perfectly with the exception that the knees which were too tight for comfortable daylong movement (like climbing hills). I returned them for a size small which fit fine (given the stretch fabric) although there is a little extra fabric in the butt. I love the Fjallraven brand so much! I bought these for my sister for Christmas since her and her family moved out to Washington state and do a lot of hiking. She said they are by far the best "yoga pants" she's ever worn. Definitely our go to brand for any of our outdoor adventure.
I have wanted a pair of fjallraven tights for so long now and am delighted to have finally gotten my hands on a pair. They are fantastic, the pockets are plenty big, the material is stretchy but also holds everything in, and thick enough that no cellulite shows through. All around, a fantastic product. My friend SWORE by these trekking tights for all activities-hiking, biking, backpacking, travel, life etc. I loved the idea of the reinforced butt and knees but the fabric they use for the reinforcement was horrible. the inside stitching poked and itched. It obviously didnt bother my friend or maybe i have a badly stitched pair, but they were horrendous. I took them backpacking and regretting every step in these pants. And sleeping in them, was a heck no. i would rather be cold them wear these at night. If the stitching doesnt bother you then they look goooood! i loved the look and idea behind these pants. they felt durable and yet flattering. the length was perfect and the slight rise in the back was nice for a hint of extra butt crack coverage. because i was ... I purchased the first one for my wife and as we were so satisfied with its great fit and the fabric, then we ordered the same second tight for my mom.
