I have put the spit together, which was mostly straightforward but a tad bit unclear, and did a dry run without meat. It all seems quite sturdy with flexibility around length and so on that I need so I am quite happy with my purchase.

Great Product. Bought 60kg motor with 1.6 stake Works great First time used to Spit roast 30Kg whole Pig didn't miss a beat. Great product!
Great product, used it several times over this chrismas break. We cooked several roast chickens & 3 whole pigs of various weights from 20kg up to 30 plus at different times spit roaster never missed a beat. I would recommend this product to anybody simple easy to set up & best of all easy to clean. cooks evenly as long as you have your camp fire right.
