We love this retractable leash for many reasons. The low profile button is easier than the old style with tall lock in feature. Didn't always work. This is easy on the hands. The reflective center panel and tape are extremely helpful when walking when it's dark outside. Main fails on previous retractable leashes has been the gear box. Will be interested to see how this one fares. It seems much smoother than others we have purchased in the past. Overall, a great product.

The trainer was nice and flexible with scheduling. He was almost 10 minutes late. The facility was dirty. There was a dead cricket in the floor that my dog almost ate. He did eat a piece of scrap paper that was in the floor. The station used for clean up was super dusty. We spent the first 20 minutes or so sitting in the floor with the trainer just giving our dog treats. I would have liked some communication around this like “what we are doing to do is give him some time to just get used to me” or something but instead we all just sat there. I just felt there could have been more communication during the visit about what we could be doing and what the trainer was doing even if it was just “ok so now I’m going to try to pet him or hold him”. I use this lead when we have our Russell Terrier on the beach or fields to give him some freedom. The Neon lead (Tape) is so much better than the thin black para cord that is on most retractable leads, you can clearly see the tape when it is out which is great for me and for others as they can clearly see the dog is not running free. The Locking mechanism is very good on this lead, it is very easy to use especially for anyone with weak fingers or sore joints, it does not require a lot of power to apply the break. I liked this so much I have bought the 8Mt version to give Bobby some extra range when on the beach

I love this leash. It's the 4th one I've bought for my dogs. I love it that you can attach things like the treat/poop bags holder, or the light you can attach to the side of the leash. It can be white or red, or can blink red. It's also a reflective leash, and a tape. The tape is questionable because my dogs try to chew on it while they are puppies trying to get them used to walking on a leash. But I do love this leash. It is a 16' leash as well.
This is a great retractable leash! We just bought our second one after having this one for over a year. The locking mechanism works wells, and the tape is sturdy and thick. We had a different brand before this one, and it was made cheaply- the tape was thin and got tangled up easily. This type of leash is NOT meant for leash training- I just wanted to point that out for the negative reviews that say it doesn't work for leash training. A non-retractable short leash (we used 6ft.), along with a harness, is what you need for leash training. We use this retractable leash, along with a harness, now that our pup is a lot better trained. Also, Chewy is amazing at quick delivery- it came the next day!
Just got this leash yesterday and promptly put it to use. Bought the Large size, as my dog weighs 65 lbs. The leash is great, and overall, I am very happy with it. Love the bright color, the tape feeds in and out very smoothly, the short stop and lock mechanism work easily and smoothly, and I love that it gives his highness some extra length to run. The only problem I hv with it is that the handle is a little too fat for my small hands. I find it difficult to really feel like I hv a firm grip on it, particularly when he spots a squirrel that he wants to chase! Maybe cd hv gotten away with the Medium if its handle is a little thinner. Pondering whether to go to the trouble of exchanging it.

Love Flexi leashes! Other brands I have tried dont last long because the retractable part breaks. No Flexi! A little more expensive but great quality!
Nancy is a phenomenal, intutive & intelligent trainer. I thought it would be "work" to teach my energetic pointer to settle down. I was (am) amazed at Nancy's wizardry with my strong willed puppy. However, I marveled at how readily my puppy responded to Nancy's cues. I was delighted that when I followed Nancy's example, I was able to elicit the same behaviors using only body language and treats. The dreaded but necessary puppy class was a positive learning experience. Nancy is beyond excellent in her field of dog training! I will continue with ongoing classes so that my puppy will learn not to pester myself and others with jumping and bossy barking behaviors etc.
I have a 24 year old classic flexi retractable leash so I truly believe in this product/company's quality. However, my dog is tiny (10 lbs) so I got the extra small leash and have two issues: despite being a small short woman I can only squeeze 3 fingers into the handle, super uncomfortable (for some mysterious reason the handle for the extra-small dog assumes the human is also tiny); second issue is flexi new neon is supposed to be compatible with the multi box for treats/bags but the extra-small handle lacks the groove to attach the multi box. Even the picture of the model using the leash shows it with the multi box attached.
