This is an essential for any serious electrician or mechanic. The ability to differentiate between temperatures of equipment is always the first step in any PM or troubleshooting process. The E8 with its overlay ability sets my company apart from the rest. Once you get one you will instantly find multiple uses that make your job ssooooo much easier. You will be a smarter more productive person with this equipment in your arsenal!!
FLIR 8 IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND TE MADE THE BUY PAINLESS. FLIR HAS NEVER REPLIED TO MY WARRANTY, TECHNINCAL, AND THEIR OWN BONUS PROGRAM EMAILS AND LETTERS. ITS BEEN ABOUT A MONTH.THAT SAID I WOULD BUY PRODUCTS FROM TE ANY TIME. THEIR STAFF WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND HAD A GREAT DEAL OF KNOWLEDGE TO SHARE.
Digital camera needs improving. WiFi not designed to connect to computer. Flir tools freezes up constantly ,possibly by design.
I needed this imager for a major project and paid an extra fee for expedited shipping.The Product arrived in the anticipated time, but the batteries would not charge - it appears that the contacts on the charger were not making contact with the batteries - and I could not use the device for the project, which was then delayed at considerable expense to my company and to the project team.In addition to repairing or replacing the charger/batteries, an ITM manager promised to refund the $75.00 expedited shipping charge. Great Product
A great tool for residential and commercial application. MSX clarifies images well from 18" to about 10'. I use this camera daily with great ease. Good results. Not a single complaint from a customer yet. Images are small but meet expectations.
