Fluval Nano Marine Led Light 20W

Word of Caution - I purchased this light through Amazon via Saltwateraquarium.com in January of [REDACTED]. Worked ok until all of a sudden 9 months later the BT quit working and so the light would not turn off or follow the programmed settings. Contacted Amazon Returns who said to contact Saltwateraquariums.com, which I did. I was informed by them that I would need to do a manufactures warranty return to Fluval/Ralph C Hagen Inc. I contacted them and they sent me return instructions 3 weeks later after several more emails/phone calls for that info. I sent the light back at my expense exactly as requested through UPS on Nov 14th, [REDACTED]. The receptionist at Ralph C Hagen USA signed for it on November 21st, [REDACTED]. I love this led lightingSmall compact and the 120 degree angle is great.My light failed on a reef max 60 which is pretty wide and this covers the whole tank easily.Love the lighting App which is easy to use and conects first time.Definitely worth the purchase which actually seems pretty cheap for the quality and design plus the app.Well done fluval, great stuff 👏👏

Fluval marine Bluetooth light

This marine light is suitable for small(nano) tanks and gives sufficient light in my aquael 55litre cube, I have good growth from soft and lps corals and intend to include sps corals soon having confidence that the light will suit. Programming via the app is easy, I use one of the pre programmed setups slightly modified. Getting the app to accept the light first time is sometimes tricky but works well once accepted.

I LOVE THESE LIGHTS! Way more affordable than other High-End fixtures for my nanos. Looking forward to seeing how they do. I have one on a tank with mostly soft corals (mushrooms, zoas, acans, etc) the other tank only has a single sps. I love the functionality of the light and easy setup/operation.

I purchased this product for a small Fluval Spec V nano reef so that I could have greater flexibility with my light schedule, instead of the simple on/off of my previously used $40 black box LED. The light was very easy to set up - the app was straightforward and I didn't have any issues with the actual hardware. That said, the light spread produced by this light is very, very small and narrow. I placed it over the center of my (small) aquarium, and ramped up the lights over a week. Even at full power, only the softies directly underneath it so much as opened up after a few more weeks, so I replaced it with my $40 cheap led and all of the corals were happy once again. At this point, it's sitting unused in a box somewhere. I give it 3 stars because it does produce a pleasant light to look, and it is very easy to use, and it may work well on a 3g pico or something similar, but I can't recommend it for anything larger. At the relatively high price point, it'd be worthwhile to spend a bit more and get a true nano light with a bit more power.

So easy to set up. Refreshingly simple to use. Good for nano and soft corals and macroalgae. Not sure about coral which need "more" light. But I think some would work. In a little tank it works wonderfully.

This light is a good value for the money. It has a wide variety of LEDs and build in Bluetooth for setting up via the Fluval app. Its waterproof and has a decent mounting system. It has a fairly clean look over the tank. Why the 3 stars? No matter how I adjusted the settings I could never get a clean look out of it. Compared to IA Prime and the Tuna Blue A80 it was just bland. Hard to describe but when you look at them side by side the Fluval was just dull. Corals seemed washed out. Tried this light a few times but just left me wanting more. Id say it be great for a fish only tank but not for corals.

This light works perfectly and is very easy to use. The only downside is it does get a bit hot on the top, but whatever i am not resting my hands on it. This light is very reasonably priced compared to similar products and does the exact same job if not better. The AI prime is like 200 dollars and you have to buy the mounting arm separately, this comes whit the mountain equipment, also the mounting arm is really nice it swivels so you can move it when you have to do maintenance. The app and setting the schedule/ levels for the light is super easy and it works like a charm. This light is honestly perfect for a 10 gallon tank. Plus it looks sexy and sleek.

This looks great on my 7.4 nano tank. The Bluetooth function is very good, light can be adjusted so it's just right for your tank. I have the 24 and 36 inch versions on my larger tanks and this is every bit as good. Can't yet speak for its ability to grow coral, but I'll update this review when I cross that road.

good lights but could be better

In general these lights work well enough. A few points though: 1) They are definitely made for smaller aquariums. If you have an aquarium with the filtration in the back as with all in ones the bar to extend the light is not long enough so it doesn't come to the center of the tank; 2) while the bluetooth app is nice, there is no way other than unplugging them to turn them on/off; 3) they get very hot; I wouldn't expect leds to get that hot.
