The Flymo does an incredible job! It’s light to use and manoeuvre. Storage is so easy. Contrary to opinions, it actually did an amazing job mowing even taller grass

I bought this Flymo electric mower this morning. After assembling it I mowed a small section of lawn about 100 square metres (about 10 x 10 meters). It mowed well and then I took a 10 minute break before resuming my mowing and it wouldn't start. I checked that no fuse tripped and verified that also by plugging in a power drill at the extension cord end and that worked but the mower did not work. Took off the blade and fan and checked for anything blocking the motor but all was okay. I could turn the motor by hand so it wasn't stuck.I returned it to Bunnings for a full refund as I wasn't confident that a replacement would be any better.This was disappointing for me as I had an electric Flymo for more than 5 years in the 1970's, followed by a GL47 petrol Flymo for ... MoreI bought this Flymo electric mower this morning. Super easy to use. I do wish it had a collection basket, however my lawn is small so raking up the grass is not too taxing.

We have always loved flymo and when AU gets the one with the box on the back which is in UK we will get that one as well, you can cut your grass so short and it’s great for place you can’t get to with a standard mower
My husband loves the new flymo, he has had flymo mowers for over 30 years.The Flymo Simpliglide 360 is so light, easy to use and can be hung up on a wall to store, he says best Flymo ever!!
My Flymo Simpliglide 360 is even better than I had expected. It just hovers over the grass. It was very long grass but it didn't deter the mower. The cut was so fine that there was basically nothing to rake up.It was mulched and fell into the lawn that was left. Gliding over the grass effortlessly leaving a neatly trimmed lawn in its wake. BEST THING I HAVE BOUGHT FOR A LONG TIME....BRILLIANT
Great product my husband is a Greenkeeper and we have a steep site. Perfect to carry up steps. Light and effective. It is his second one over the years and we could only find it a Mitre 10 Mighty helpful indeed.
Very pleased with this mower, made it possible for me to cut the lawn, as my usial mower was leaving deep wheel tracks when I attempted to mow
Re previous review.The wheels on the front are for wheeling to the shed or garage when not running to put away for storage.Good clean effortless cut and good looking evencut grass, better if cut regularly.
I bought this a few weeks ago as I had just laid new lawn beds and wanted the minimum impact on the pretty soft ground. It does an OK cut, although a bit short for my liking even on highest setting. I was disappointed with it's gliding ability and often have to drag it. In summary, it works, but nowhere near as good as implied.
