I usually love this product! I have been ordering and re-ordering for over 5 years (maybe closer to 10) and have never had a problem. This most recent order, I have had at least 15 contacts that I cannot get out of the plastic, as in, I can't get the seal open. The seal peels back, but then there is a thick, impenetrable second layer of plastic. I think the solution could be to puncture it with scissors or a knife, but then I would risk infection and cutting the contact itself. That said, I have had to throw away at least 15 contacts because of faulty packaging. I feel scammed!

Daily contact lenses, often called "dailies," offer the convenience of fresh lenses every day, which minimizes the risk of infections and eliminates the need for cleaning and storing. They are particularly comfortable for people with dry or sensitive eyes, and are great for travel since there's no need for lens solution. However, they can be more expensive over time and produce more waste due to daily disposal. Popular brands like Acuvue Oasys 1-Day and Dailies Total1 are well-regarded for their comfort and quality.

First, I'd to address the issue of the "service fee" or whatever the BS charge is that all these contact lens companies seem to be tacking on, and in some pretty ridiculous amounts. When I ordered from Lens.com last year, the fee was like $35, and suddenly this year it was about $140. WHAT. THE. HECK? The most obnoxious part is, they aren't even up front about what this fee even is--they use circular language that answers absolutely nothing. I very much appreciated how up-front Contact Lens King was about the fee, explaining that they had lost business when they tried to resist doing it, and they've reluctantly incorporated it back in to remain competitive. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY. Plus, their service fee was the lower than all the others, so another win for ... MoreFirst, I'd to address the issue of the "service fee" or whatever the BS charge is that all these contact lens companies seem to be tacking on, and in some pretty ridiculous amounts. So, I placed my order with CLK, and much to my delight, about 2 hours after placing the order, I received an email stating that my contacts had already shipping. Damn! That was quick! A few days later, they were on my doorstop. So considering the way the do business, their prices, and their speed, I can't imagine why anyone would want to shop anywhere else.As for the lenses themselves, I've used them for several years, and they are definitely some of the more comfortable lenses I've tried, and my eye infections stopped once I started using them. My only complaint is quality - over the last couple years, I've noticed I've been getting more and more defective lenses. I have noticed more rips, tears, and outright holes/chunks missing in the lens when I take them fresh out of the package/solution. Disappointing, but because I know this brand works for me, I'm hesitant to switch.....for now.

So I purchased these in December 2021.It's my first time using dailies and I thought these would be beneficial long-term for the health of my eyes. At first they were great, easy to use and dispose of. They were comfortable at first however when I went to put the contacts in my eye one morning, as I was driving to work.. All of a sudden I realised my eye was getting irritated to the point where my eye was stinging and watering.I was able to get to work safely with one eye closed and a colleague helped me flush out my eye with saline wash. We had to use q-tips to retrieve the contact that was now impossible to retrieve using only my fingers. We were able finally take out the contact but low and behold the contact was now in two pieces.I thought i'd let it go ... MoreSo I purchased these in December 2021.It's my first time using dailies and I thought these would be beneficial long-term for the health of my eyes. We had to use q-tips to retrieve the contact that was now impossible to retrieve using only my fingers. We were able finally take out the contact but low and behold the contact was now in two pieces.I thought i'd let it go this time around as I thought it may have just been one faulty lens, but in the span of 3 months it happened second time and now a third time. Again, a colleague was able to help me take out a piece of the lens however we couldn't find the other missing half.Thinking it must've just fell out and we hadn't seen it. I got home that night from work and something in me just told me to go inspect my eye, as worst case scenario I didn't want an eye infection because of a contact that had been long forgotten in my eye. After careful inspection and a lot of prodding and crying, I was able to find the missing piece lodged behind my eye-lid where I couldn't feel it at all. The reason I've decided to write this review was to just warn others, this may have caused an injury to my eye such as a scratched cornea and I wouldn't wish that on anyone else. Beware!
These contacts Rip in your eye! They are extremely thin, fragile, and rip in your eye. I have had to throw so many out. Beware! I had one rip in my eye could not get out went under my eyelid. My left eye got completely red, swollen, infected. My vision was blurry. I had to go to the eye doctor to get removed it was in pieces and she said it had scratched the cornea of my eye in two spots in the left corner of my left eye and she gave me a prescription for antibiotics and steroid for my eye. I had to take 2 days off work could not see properly out of my eye and became so infected and swollen and extremely painful and gave me a extreme migraine headache! I have worn contacts for years and never had a problem until I bought these contacts. I have 90 days worth of these going in the garbage. Plus a bill from eye doctor and drops of $150. What a waste of money and the fact I could have lost my vision! They also are uncomfortable to wear and hurt your eyes and dry your eyes. The reason I've decided to write this review was to warn others, I would not want this to happen to anyone else! Beware!
I read the reviews before I ordered. I noticed some said thin and flimsy so that's why I ordered. Most people don't understand the thinner they are the more comfortable they are. I have very sensitive eyes and have tried lots that I can't wear. These are comfortable and have helped my dry eyes. Yes they are harder to put in but once in they are the best, a thicker contact may be easier to put in but for me they are the most uncomfortable. Hope this helps someone like me trying to choose a contact.
I have been buying and wearing these lenses for years from Vision Express. At last eye test I agreed to trial other lenses as they are slowly switching people away from this cheaper product to more expensive lenses. None of the alternative samples in stock so told to come back another day to try those. I made clear in store I was nearly out of stock of Dailies and would need more. I asked if I could order and have delivered in store. Told no. So I sat in the store and ordered online instead. Two days later had an email back saying Vision Exoress unable to process order as not my recommended lenses brand. Tried a couple of calls to point out that my order was for the same lenses (Dailies) that I have been wearing for many years and that I have not even trialled the supposedly recommended lenses. Vision Express unable to cope with that logic. With very few lenses left resorted to ordering online. Delivered in 24 hours. Really happy with lenses and service.
These contact lens seems ok when they work, but they are not nearly as comfortable as the Acuvue Oasys that I usually wear. Worst yet, they seem to have the tendency to tear, and going by the other reviews, Im not the only one that has experienced this happening. I can understand it happening once in a while, but it just seems to happen too frequently. Just today both my contact lens ripped within hours of each other and luckily I had spare lenses with me. I was freaking out a bit as I did not know if the ripped pieces were still in my eyes. I simply cannot trust these lenses anymore and once Im done with what I have, I will not be ever purchasing this brand again. I cannot recommend them as there are so many other brands which are more comfortable and higher quality.
Hate these! I wire gas permeables for 20 years. Then has lasik. That worked for 9 years. I wanted to return to gas perms, doc discouraged it. I had a different brand for a year. Thus yesr I switched to Dailies. These are too thin. They tear in my eyes when I take them out. The tinting is too light to find the pieces in my eye. Theses should NOT. Be worn by anyone with any length of finger nails.
