Forma Boots comfortably fit my wide feet. I wear 10-1/5 4E boots and shoes off the bike. With Forma, I upsize to 11 and get the EUR 45. Theses boots were stiff out of the box, but they are wearing in nicely, which is ideal as far as I'm concerned. The leather is decent quality. Stitching is excellent. Plastics are all straight and placed properly. The hardware adjusts as it should, is tight, and snaps closed firmly. The sole has more flex at the front of the foot than I expected, with no pinching. A nice surprise. Lateral support is not super stiff, but a major improvement over the Forma Adventures these will replace. My last forma boots didn't leak, and I don't expect these to either. The tires on my bike are 80/20s, and these boots feel like they match my tires. I ... MoreForma Boots comfortably fit my wide feet. I don't ride super technical off-road, mostly gravel, dirt, and 2-tracks, so these seem right for meFinding boots and shoes to fit me properly is always a gamble. So far, Forma's have fit me comfortably right out of the box.

These are incredibly comfortable and stylish boots. While they're lacking on extreme protection, they're not meant to be MX/Enduro boots. The fit on these is spot on, and maybe a little on the big side. I usually wear a size 10US/44EU and I ended up with a 9US/43EU. They fit perfectly with a touch of room for foot swelling and thicker socks, but I am sure once they fully break in and stretch out that they'll be even better. I only have a couple rides in with them, but they are easily my favorite bit of riding footwear, even over non-moto boots. Very confidence inspiring. I plan on purchasing a more MX/Enduro oriented pair for those hard trail days, and I'll look no further than the Forma Terra Evo Dry's.

I have a bunion on one of my big toe knuckles and until I got these boots, would have significant pain later in a ride and afterwards. I was wearing a pair of Gaerne SG10 boots, noted for a roomy toe, but they still hurt like heck after a few hours. I'd been considering pair of Formas and finally bought them, and wow what a difference. Since I am mostly on trails, the Gaernes were a bit of overkill. The Forma boots feel like they weigh half as much, are much easier to put on, and after a day of riding, just felt like a pair of heavy duty hiking boots. There is less ankle protection, but for most trail riding it is perfectly adequate. They fit over my knee and shin guards fine (I wear over the boot pants, so can't comment on how well riding pants fit when tucked in. ... This is/was a great pair of boots. Stylish, well built, and fit my WIDE feet perfectly. I had one accident when my ankle everted and caused some mild damage. For sure the boot saved my foot/ankle from braking. In the process, I was worried that the boot had lost its integrity and could not be trusted through another test of faith. I moved up to a firmer fit and with more ankle support. https://revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-toucan-gtx-boots Alpinestars Toucan if within your price range is as comfortable with enhanced protection. I bought these several weeks ago. Have now used them 520 miles, about half on road and half offroad. As long as I am riding and do not need to flex in the metatarsal region of my foot they are fine. But when walking and the boot upper flexes, the right boot is digging into the top part of my foot in metatarsal area. See the photo with paper strips at flex point. There seems to be a break or thinning in the material that is placed between the inside liner and leather along this location. Perhaps to facilitate the uppers flex. On my right boot in this zone the material (plastic?) seems to curl or buckle, along the hinge, causing a ridge that protrudes downward. When the boot bends when walking that ridge digs down into the top of my foot. Hurts. It you buy this brand, ... MoreI bought these several weeks ago. It you buy this brand, before wearing, run your fingers down on the inside and make sure the transition in the hinge/flex zone is smooth. While my scores on the 5 categories averages to 4, I score 3 stars because wearing them when walking hurts my right foot. Maybe will imrove in another 500 miles.
These boots will fit perfect, in time. I wear a size 10, 4E work boot - European 43, Extra wide. I started reading any and all reviews I could find for oiled leather boots where Wide feet was mentioned. Forma came up positive nearly all the time. After that I messaged my concern, and it recommended that I size up from the US size 10. Which put me at a size 45 for these boots.Oh, I wanted oiled leather because it would allow for more give/stretch over the life of the boot, and provide a better fit in time. That all said, the boots were a bit tight across the ball of my foot, right out of the box. But they slipped on well, and my toes didn't numb right away. (I hope at least one person reading this understands how that is actually a positive thing)After wearing them ... (I hope at least one person reading this understands how that is actually a positive thing)After wearing them around the house a little over a week and they are beginning to soften up and they are feeling snug instead of tight.I'm only talking about the wide fit, because protection, durability, weather resistance, and that other stuff is reviewed all over the place. To sum up - I wear US Size 10-4E work boots, EU 43, Extra Wide. I purchase Forma, Adventure Low Boots, Size EU-45. They fit pretty well, and I expect them to break in and when the time comes, I will buy these again.Highly recommend these for folks with wide feet.
Owned these 5 years now as my daily riders. Had a cager side swipe me about three years ago and my exhaust ended up on my ankle. Without these on I probably would have suffered a fracture/broken bone, and since I was only wearing denim jeans at the time, probably some 2nd/3rd degree burning. They aren't amazingly comfortable off the bike, but I've worn them for 10+ hour days at MC events and what not, and while my feet may be sore at the end of the day, they're not in agony. On the bike, they are as comfortable as leather and tpu can be.After 5 years the sole in the rear is starting to peel off a tiny bit. Some of the stitching is beginning to fray. But, they are still in great condition.I recommend these to anyone looking for more ankle/shin protection for ... MoreOwned these 5 years now as my daily riders. I've ridden a Kawasaki 500, Yamaha Bolt R-Spec, Honda VTX11300, and Harley Sportster 1200 with these boots and they shift great and do well in mid/forward controls. After 5 years the boots are still waterproof, no problems there. These boots could probably last me another 5 years, if I baby them. When I buy my next pair, they will most likely be another set of these. But probably the black ones this time.
The boots are obviously well made out of the box. The only things it lacks is true adjustment buckles. You can adjust the ones on the boots about 1 size smaller, but beyond that it'll wrinkle the leather on the boot instead. It wasn't a big problem for me. My big issue is I have pretty big bunions and when I read these boots ran wide I got them and was not disappointed. They're just wide enough that the fit is like an American E, but not quite an EE size. These have an amazing fit right out of the box and even broken in they haven't changed much in terms of comfort and have really started to hug the larger portions of my feet.I'd say the only real negative is if you ride a bike that makes a lot of vibration you'll feel it since the soles are pretty solid and there ... It's a minor complaint though and most other boots on the market probably wouldn't do much better or worse than these.I wear a 10E to 10EE and got these in 44
Had these for several months now and I use them for all my rides, but nothing off-road. I also use them for turning practice and slow speed ?drills?. They are very comfortable boots but after awhile of riding the outside arch collapses enough to get a little sore.I have managed to tip over in these at like 2mph and catch my foot between the pavement and the pillion peg (luckily it was folded up) and although my foot was VERY sore I could still bear weight and had no major injury. These will prevent some hyperextension (injury to the plantar fascia on the bottom of the foot from ?turf toe?) and crushing (there are little pads around the inner ankle) but don?t go thinking they?re going to offer anywhere near the protection of an enduro or motocross boot where the ... I have the Forma motocross boots for off-road focused riding and had I been wearing those I would have have no doubt just brushed it off. But who wants to street ride in motocross boots? They look cool over the top of pants, but that?s how I roll even when it?s hot.Do be aware that the little screws on the buckles need to be tightened from time to time. These things are far better than just a pair of ?sturdy? work boots. Just don?t get ?em pinned under a big 500+ lb bike. Otherwise for what they are it?s money well spent!
i tried on several different boots before settling on the forma for one reason, comfort on the ground. yes this is a motorcycle boot, yes it needs to be protective. but i also do a lot of walking off the bike, and i need to be able to move around without having to take off my boots at every pit stop. i do feel like you are sacrificing a lot in terms of protection and durability, but you are still leagues above a street riding shoe.that said, the foot area is actually very well protected. sole is stiff and grippy, toe box is cavernous and rugged, and shin protector is very durable. but the ankle is really where this boot is lacking. there is some support, but the plastic is thin and flexes without too much effort. i liked that this boot had the hyperflex lock at ...
