When I play records I want the warmth, the oomph I enjoyed back in the 70's. Many of today's modern playback systems lack those qualities. Adding tubes in the preamp section brings it all back. Now I can go back to annoying my neighbors with all that deep, rich bass. Alright now.....!

Having grown up with record player and tube valve amps, was missing the the quality fidelity of analog media in this digital world. The distinct crackle of vinyl media with amplified by amps with tube valves have their own distinct tones. When I recently got back into my vinyl collection, my quest for good sounding preamps came to a final conclusion with this pre amps. Input from Sony LP player and out to my Sony AV receiver, this pre amp makes the music sound like just the way its was supposed to- Hi-Fi!!!!

The device is excellent, the sound is very good, the thread for the ground wire is too wide and the lamp holders are made of plastic instead of ceramic, and the good thing is that the opamps can be easily replaced, the printed circuit board is very well done.

Quality tube pre-amp delivers incredible sound and surpassed all of my expectations. Old vinyl's and even all CD's will have a warmer natural sound like never heard.
Wow! A fabulous phono vacuum tube preamp at a very affordable price. Have just connected it up and am listening to a Duke Ellington record. The difference between this Fosi and my previous preamp is considerable, despite them both being the same price.
Wanting the vinyl to sound good again I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound reproduced through this phono preamp. My high end Yamaha receiver does a great job for all the video stuff but thought the phono input just didn't do any justice to the vinyl. This is a nice addition to the system and looks cool too!
Fantastic pre-amp for the price! I inherited an older turntable/receiver system, and the existing pre-amp wasn't the best. It arrived today and I've played 3 albums on the turntable with the new Fosi pre-amp it sounds crystal clear!
i found that when cleaning these mixers that they did NOT dissolve in acetone and were easy to clean just by putting them in the Acetone and swishing around gerat items they should last me a long time and they fitted into my battery screwdriver for mixing the resin and held in while in use .
compared tube preamp to soliid state preamp and a big difference. i am using it with a tube amp. did not try on solid state amp. there is a knob adlustment to match your cartridge to your amp
